@Lindseyay Suggestion from a mother of eight, three of which were special needs, and homeschooled for 31 years...limit their toys to three each; limit their clothes to 7 each; if it gets thrown on the ground...do you need it? Keep getting rid of things until you hardly have anything to pick up. Forget the toybox bit! I grew up with 3 dolls, a ball and a baton. My brother had a couple of trucks instead of dolls. All three of us are very creative.

Now that's exactly right! Had 5 and I felt like I was stick on a merry go round that wouldn't let me off... For about 20 years!!
