*A VERY SAD MOMENT*
*WE REGRET TO ANNOUNCE THE DEATH OF MRS. ISHAKU DOGO KATUNG (THE WIFE OF THE MINISTER IN CHARGE) OF ECWA PRAYER HOUSE BIRNIN GWARI KADUNA STATE.*
*Herdsmen kidnapped her and demanded for 5,000,000 Naira, they finally agreed to collect 4,000,000 which they were given, BUT THEY STILL KILLED HER WITH AN UNBORN CHILD.*
*THIS IS A VERY SAD MOMENT FOR THE FAMILY, AND ECWA AS A WHOLE.*
*Let's pray along with the family of REV. ISHAKU at this very odd time.*
*Kindly share.*
PLEASE, LET US PRAY HARDER FOR OUR BRETHREN IN THE NORTHERN NIGERIA.
Doing what God asks us to do can often start out really exciting. But are we doing it to be liked, or get likes or more downloads?
Or are we serving God, out of obedience and trust?
If weβre serving God weβll always get what is needed to do what God is asking of us. From his own experience, Andy B can recount many times that βthat thing we needβ invariably comes much later than weβd prefer.
But the working out of our faith isnβt gonna happen without times when we donβt have all we think we need right in front of us.
Really growing faith, happens when we trust God for the things we actually need, but donβt yet have!

Karen Kruse good question! Perhaps our talking points are moved more by secular media than we Christians want to admit? If the news talks about riots in DC, does the church not follow and also talk about riots in DC? If the news talks about BLM, does the church not also begin discussing BLM? The news doesn't talk about Nigeria, so the church doesn't talk about Nigeria. That is not easy to admit, because it leads to deeper concerns - like - What if the modern church is influenced by the secular world than just mere talking points? Perhaps if we see how greatly our talking points are influenced, we would also have to admit other spheres of influence like maybe our world view, our theology, our missiology, our idea of Love, hell, justice - have all been skewed because of the influence that the world has on our lives.
