So, I went for a 5km run for the first time in around 2 months yesterday. It was not easy, but I made it, in spite of vehement objections from my body the whole way. π©
I did take one or two short breaks along the way though and took a couple of photos, to capture some of the beautiful scenery.
Sunshine and blue skies βοΈ, rolling hills and green fields πΎ, a fresh, cool breeze π¬οΈ, and a quiet, smooth open road - what more could could one desire of a running route? π
@Keeper
Thank you. Yes, spring is definitely in the air, and the weather, the landscapes, and the vegetation become more and more pleasant every day.
Hopefully, I'll have lots of spring pictures to post over the next month or so. π»

Keep the pictures coming!
You're giving us fine photography that is uplifting.
@TakeN I understand your pain! I haven't gone for a run in..... a long time, it's been too icy. ( Is that a good enough excuse?)
Anyway, your pictures looks like a perfect place to run or be tugged along for a walk with my Sally puppy! Thank you for posting your pictures I always enjoy them and gives me a bigger desire to visit you and your family and see your country.
@MaryMamuzich
Thanks, Mary.
I reckon ice provides a legitimate excuse to avoid running.
Though my reason for not running was because of our move and the subsequent settling in.
By the way, if you do happen to go for a walk there with your puppy one day, mind she doesn't get blown off. π There is an almost constant strong wind where we live, and around the fields it is especially gusty.
@TakeN ππ she probably could fly away like a kite. Then,again, she is low to the ground and pretty aerodynamic...
