True Story: One night at 3AM in 1988, Hawaiian singer Israel Kamakawiwo'ole had an unshakeable idea. He called a local studio and begged them to open it for him. He knew that this kind of inspiration comes only once in a life time.

A very tired friend opened the studio and Israel recorded "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" in one single take.

Israel died in 1997, but this song continues to bless millions.

If God's inspiration graces you, even for a moment, NEVER let it pass you by. Especially the 3 AM kind. It may only come once in a life time and for that, tomorrow is your enemy.

There is always tomorrow might be the greatest lie the enemy ever told the people of God. Start living your inspired life today. Do not delay, even if you have to call the studio manager and get them out of bed and remind them of the inspiration that made them start the studio in the first place.

Praising God for 13 years with this man of God and for the two wonderful children He had entrusted to us. Please pardon the litter on the ground in the one pic. We didn't put it there, but removed it just before leaving the area. Some people in our part of the world don't yet know God or care about His beautiful creation. May His light shine through our lives, marriage, and family for His glory!

@sinbach Your text was inspiring! It's a beautiful song. The history of the song is inspiring as well:
"The lyrics of the song were written by Yip Harbug, the son of Russian-Jewish immigrants.../...The song was first published in 1939, at a time when the Jews in Europe were coming under increased hostility. Their freedoms were being taken away, their identity being dragged through the dirt, and many of them were feeling isolated. They were trapped, unable to “fly”.

The song is about hope, that the bad times will one day be over. It is this feeling of hope within the song that we can all relate to and it is hope that helped the Jewish people through the Holocaust.

Yip did not know what the future held for the Jewish people when he wrote this song. The lyrics “chimney tops” take on a harrowing new meaning now that we know the horrors of the Holocaust. I am sure many Jews looked to the skies above Auschwitz’s chimney’s, longing for the day they were free."

A Review: ! The Life of Chesty Puller; interestingly Puller has some words about the moral state of decline in the US and also his concern for strong Protestants when he was in the in WW2 bit.ly/3azaLYh

I'm so proud of our Finnish hockey boys (called the Lions) who won the World Championship! Again, a small country (5,5 million people), with not as much money as Canada and the US to train young players.
