@sinbach what an incredible amount of information is now out into the hands of hundreds of people! Blessed to be a part of it.

@sinbach you just spoiled all the home alone movies for me πŸ˜‚

@Knittinggrace @sinbach Im actually refuring to the entire NT where the law is no longer written in stone, but in our hearts. The written law was not enough, so God gave us a better way. It is no longer just about what we do, but about the heart reason behind why we do it. God doesn't look at our life to see if we are doing the right things, He looks into our hearts to see why we are doing them.

@sinbach I really believe the guy bottom left walking off the path got it right!

@Knittinggrace @sinbach We no longer live under the law, but under grace. God did not come to condemn us but to save us. He longs for us to work together as one, to have each others backs and lift each other up. In fact, the world will know us by our love for each other.

Jesus said that he came so we might have life and have it to the fullest.

Are you living under grace, or under the law? Is your motive to build up or tear down other believers? Do you show the same grace you want God to show you? Do you walk in pride or humility? Is love your underlying reason behind what you say and do?

I can't answer these questions, I don't know what is going on in your heart, I don't know what your motives are, thats between you and God. You ask about sin, but that is not something for me to say, only you know that.

All I can speak for is myself, and there are times I say and do the "Right" things, but my motives are wrong, so in those times for me it is sin.

@sinbach Ill refrain from commenting since mine are still at home... at least for a little while yet

@bethany @sinbach Yeah, I can't remember when the last time was I called my parents... My Mom calls and talks to Tam about once a day though.

@sinbach @bethany Well you know Christmas is coming up... Time to start showing classic Christmas movies πŸ˜‰

@Knittinggrace @sinbach Those are actually things you said about others. So only you can answer that question, only you and God know what's in your heart and what your motive is in why you said them.

You don't have to answer to me or justify anything, cause if your heart and motives are pure then you don't have to defend yourself, and if they aren't then thats between you and God, not me.

All I know is that Jesus desire is for us to work together as one as He and the Father are one. And God said that we can't love Him if we don't love our brother. It must make Him sad when we fight each other instead of standing together as one to fight the real enemy.

@Knittinggrace @sinbach Why do you always do this and turn everything around. No one is calling you a sinner or condemning you, or calling you names, yet anytime someone post something you don't like you damn them as fools and sinners and call them wicked. We don't have that right or power, only God does. Im not say we should not encourage a brother or sister to do better, but to condemn them just because we don't agree with them... where is the love and christ likeness in that. Even Jesus himself refused to condemn a woman caught in adultery and humiliated those who were trying to condemn her. All Im asking you is where is the grace, where is the mercy... If Jesus shows it shouldn't we also show it to our fellow brothers and sisters. And if we are not willing to show it shouldn't we then be fearful that God will not show it to us?

@Knittinggrace @sinbach My dear sister, if you can not see the log that is in your eye then it must be so large you are blind.
May God give you more grace and mercy than you are willing to give others

@Knittinggrace @sinbach Just curious, do you consider yourself the proud or the humble?

Do you ever offer Grace to others, or just condemnation?

Be careful sister, and take your own advice and receive correction from others.

I know you love to give it out, but be open to receive too.

@Knittinggrace @sinbach yes, I do reference Mathew but that warning is for us to remove the log from our own eye before we go after the speck in someone else's.

@Knittinggrace @sinbach your at it again, weaponizing scripture to prove your own point. You know I could quote just as many verses back to you about love, mercy, forgiveness, and we could keep going back and forth, but for what purpose, to prove one right and the other wrong? You said yourself we are all brothers and sisters on the same team. Let's start acting like it.

@Knittinggrace @sinbach I know the director of the board. Once I told him about a well know ministry and some issues that had come up about them. His response was that he would rather hear about peoples success than their failures. I never forgot that. It is so easy to point out others failures and fail to praise them for their success.

I believe God would rather we look at our own failures and remove that log from our own eyes, so we can see clearly to help those with specks in their eyes.

And when we remembering that God said he would judge us in the same way that we judge others it should give us more grace and mercy on them... at least thats the way I think.

@Knittinggrace @sinbach @Cherishingsparrows2020 Its our job to share with unbelievers the Love, Mercy and Grace of Jesus. Its Gods job to convict them of the sin in their lives.
