@tanjaostman are there any vaccination requirements for campus' in Finland? It seems to be a growing trend in a number of countries
@tanjaostman that's good to hear that it's not being mandated there. There are certain situations here where the gov have now mandated vaccines, like for healthcare workers, so hopefully those mandates won't increase (this is coming from someone fully vaccinated).
Is your feeling that the vaccine passport won't be implemented in Finland?
@bethany I hope that they keep what they promise in this article, then it's good news! You can read the last part (under the last subheading). They say it will be temporary until new year, and maybe not needed at all. In addition not for children under 16. They have given the vaccine to 12-year-old children.https://yle.fi/uutiset/osasto/news/finland_unveils_covid_pass_draft_bill__parliament_votes_this_week/12140587
@bethany luckily no vaccine mandates in Finland! Then I would lose my job... They have been very pushy, so a majority have got the vax. On Friday we will hear what they say about the vaccine passports. They have not canceled them, but seems like they won't be taken into use unless there is a high incidence. Finland is in between the liberal countries (like the rest of the Nordic countries) and the strict like Canada. But we haven't seen the end yet.
