We approach You in Jesus name. We understand You by Your work (Rom. 1:20) and know You through Your Son (John 17:3).
As nations call for justice, we call for grace - grace is always ahead (Jer. 9:24; Rom. 5:20).

2021, a year of successful ministry. There were moments when we were uncertain which direction to move in-often we were simultaneously led into the throne room to regain our balance, hear Your Word, receive Your perspective and know Your heart.
So at the end of a challenging year like no other, we acknowledge Your help in getting the work done and being in the right place at the right time.
The victory is Your's alone.

Good to be back after 2 months throne room time. It was necessary to reset for what is coming next. Spent the past month preping for an agricultural project, and prior to that visiting cities and towns interceeding for the Lord to move in specific ways as the Spirit of God led the way. Despite the challenges, we are not victims but heirs who are preparing for the transition of this world to the one belonging to God and His Messiah. We either are ready to reign or we are not. The problems aound us are helping the gospel to move. We either accept we are here to address matters for our King or we accept we are helpless victims and observers of times. For me the only way forward is some supernatural interventions in the kingdoms of men which to God are a mere drop in the bucket. After all angels still walk the earth and we will need their help to get things done in this present climate.

As Christians we obey Christ our commanding officer. Paul identified slavery existed in the Roman empire but did not encourage believers to lobby to change social norms. Philemon was encouraged to accept Onesimus as a brother not a slave. Paul reminds us our warfare is not carnal and Christ encouraged us to address concerns in the prayer closet. In Isaiah we read Christ would never be characterized by marches and protests. So regardless of how we feel about child soldiers our focus is not to change the world but share the gospel of peace with the world. We stand against injustice in ways Christ approves. As a hospital we rebuild lives in line with His will. Using our 2 spiritual weapons we fight what opposes His will. As pillar of the truth we publish truth in all nations. We reach out to BOTH victim and perpetrators.

Heavenly Father,
Today we remember those in prison and being mistreated for Christ's sake (Heb. 13:3).
Thanks for their living sacrifice (Rom. 12:1) as God imitators following Christ's example of preaching to the imprisoned (1 Pet. 3:19).
May they stand firm and immovable always doing the Lord's work vigorously (1 Cor. 15:58) understanding they have received an unshakeable kingdom (Heb. 12:28).
May they know that their service has caused others to be more bold, speaking God's Word fearlessly (Philippians 1:12,14) and has advanced the Good News.
May their dependencies grow in faith in Christ knowing Your presence deeply. This we ask today for Christ's sake and in His name. Amen
