After the acceptance letters have started to come rolling in, it is time for me to do a college tour with my youngest son. He has worked so hard to get to this point. With amazing grades and among top 1% SAT scores in the nation, sooo many doors are open for this amazing young man.
Our first stop? Colorado Springs US Air Force Academy.
This time is filled with both excitement and sorrow. I am excited to see how God directs him and uses him, but am sad that we will soon be saying goodbye to one of the funniest jokesters in the family.

My wife and I REALLY want grand babies, so we just came up with a scheme today to give $10k to the first son to give us a grandchild.

I am so excited to see what God has in store for this young man. These days are so precious because I know that they are numbered. The day is quickly approaching when trips together, like today, will be a distant memory.
