There is a "friend" and coworker of mine that is unsaved. Please pray for me as I reach out to him. He is also from an Agape church (commonly known as remnant churches or charity churches). Yes, the Charity churches DO advocate a born again experience. I did not mean that he was a member of a charity church but he attends with his parents. He is rather rebellious if I can say as well, getting a phone when his parents would not let him have one, etc. I also know about the more plain churches as I work with some Joe-Wengers who are not born again. Now I am not saying that all of those in the more plain churches are not born again, some are.
@speakthetruth Thanks for your explanation. Your picture portrays you looking ex-amish. Having been raised Catholic, in evangelical Churches for 17 years, stricter plain churches for 26 years and now a conservative Mennonite church, I appreciate the balance of the Mennonite Churches the best of all. They hold up the Bible but the emphasis on evangelism is strong keeping the balance from phariseeism. (If there is such a word.) The stricter plain Churches can board on semi-cults. Seen it.
@KarMarJo57 Not ex-Amish. Just would rather a set apart life and looking western was the only other option Which the church here does not allow and I don't want.:)

@speakthetruth Fred, your comment is interesting. I am in an anabaptist church. I you saying that Charity churches don't advocate a born-again experience? From my experience they would. Now as you go deeper into the 'more plain' churches I would agree with you. I joined the plain people churches 28 years ago from community churches.
