It seems like the price is getting crazy in Finland. This is euro per litre. I have no idea what it is in USD per gallon (I don't have time to google and calculate right now). 😁 Somebody wrote our gas prices are the double of the US. I don't know if it's true. How much where you live?

@tanjaostman gasoline prices in Europe are indeed much higher due to taxes and import tariffs. One gallon is 3.8 litres. That price on the pic is 66 cents per litre of 98.

@tanjaostman between £1.80 - £1.85 per litre in the UK for diesel at the moment

rather pricey!

i'm old enough to remember £0.52/litre...that was only in 1997!

@tanjaostman
🤣
we used to use what is commonly named "auto gas" (it's petrol gas (the fumes/vapour)) back when we had drove a V8 Land Rover discovery as it was about 1/4 of the cost of liquid petrol

but even the gas version of petrol looks expensive now!

trying to be clear - I mean UK gas which is a gas and not US gas which is not a gas but a liquid

gotta love the confusion of a simple word like gas when you shorten it lol 😂

Oh, ands over in the UK gas has a whole other meaning as well over here too, and that has nothing to do with petrol or diesel 😂

@tymektt @Berrybunchfamily @tanjaostman car fuel went from 1,60 in 2020 to 490 a gallon today in Illinois USA. Which I think is near 4 liter. My sister says in Norway it's about $5.00 a liter. All I can say is Come quickly Lord Jesus come.
