Not brand new, but still great! Spot on! https://youtu.be/k3WHnqRt-kM
@xixiangdong I hate the darkness as well. Two months of really short days, like 4 hrs, and a pale sun midday, like in this picture. All in all at least four months of too dark days. It makes people tired and depressed. We are on the same latitude as Alaska, where they have the same problems. I have nothing against the winter weather, but the darkness... I would like to travel or move south every winter. But nothing beats the beautiful Nordic summers and the nature!
@DevotionalTreasures you are right!
God's mind is very much on those who still don't know Him. This amazing story shows how He orchestrates magnificent coincidences to reach out to remote people groups.

@lynnexxa thank you for sharing! Such an amazing and beautiful story!
@sinbach Wow, that’s sick! Where are the proportions? This is so, so sad! 10 times more expensive flight tickets!!? The lockdowns and restrictions are not about trying to save lives… Like I quoted in a post on DD, the cost compared to the benefits are for instance 5.2 times higher in the U.S., 10 times higher in Canada etc. Most people where I live think that every policy made is for the better good… so they gladly use their masks, keep the distance, stay at home for a year or two, and take the vaccine. But I live in a society where the trust in government is extremely high (among both Christians and atheists) compared to other countries, maybe because the Nordic countries have been very well-functioning, with the lowest numbers of corruption in the whole world, the last century. But we have a problem, since this is a global phenomenon and global actions are taken… and they trust WHO, and every other policy maker.

I shared a few lines from the book The Insurgence – Reclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom, by Frank Viola, a couple of days ago. Here is an interview with Frank on the book. They are talking about that many believers confuse the Kingdom with politics (but it’s neither left nor right). Jesus came with a new political system, a new civilization. The only “gospels” many have heard have been the gospel of libertinism or the gospel of legalism. The gospel of the Kingdom is freedom from the bondage of the flesh and the work of the flesh, and it is also freedom from religiosity and legalism - freedom in the Spirit. We should live by the indwelling life of Jesus Christ (Rom 8). The great mystery of God is Christ in you, the hope of glory. “Those who have embraced the gospel of the Kingdom and are a part of the insurgence, recognize that their citizenship is in the Kingdom of God. Their allegiance, loyalty and love lies in this alternative civilization.”
@sinbach 😂
