I love our Chinese lanterns! They make is so cozy in the evening ❤️
And this banner was hand painted by an elderly Christian Man in traditional Chinese calligraphy. It was given to our family as a gift to when we were new in China.he heard about our first orphan baby we saved and his heart was moved. It’s it very precious to us. It says “Jesus Loves You”.....

These two churches have 1000's of great sermons! We love them!
@Daniel we have a child we are trying to adopt. He is also autistic. His is due to brain injury. And he also has brain damage that causes a few rare types of seizures. I’ll be honest. It hard sometimes.
I understand what your feeling and my heart goes out to you. Where you live there is probably a lot of resources and programs to help! I want to encourage you to find some and utilize them as I am sure it would really help. I’m in China where I do not have access to them. Also search for a Christian support group to learn from and bounce ideas off.
God gave you this precious child because he KNEW that you’d be the best Parents for her. You can do this 👍🏼🥰👍🏼🥰👍🏼🥰👍🏼
We will be visiting a rural country orphanage in China tomorrow. - if any of you want to donate towards this trip, we will use any money
for items such as baby formula powder, new sleeping mats (the ones they have are always soiled with body fluids, baby shampoo, bandaids and medical supplies, and vitamins, and whatever else they need that we could provide.
So any donations will go towards things like that. There is no cap to their needs as they are quite poor.

Happy Chinese New Years! I must say, last year we were under lockdown and this year we have been under an even more strict lockdown for the past month. We are a year closer to the return of our Precious Lord Jesus, and seeing even more so the desperate need for people to care about the lost souls around them.
Pray for us here in China.
I think language changes you. To truly speak another language you often have give yourself over to another culture - to think differently. Sitting at a table last night, breaking bread and surrounded by amazing Chinese friends made me realize how much I have missed fellowshipping in the Chinese language.
I text and speak Chinese every day, but to be in fellowship together, eating, bonding - that is truly something else entirely.
@sinbach yes this is so true.
Here in China language is very cultural and relational on so many different aspects. I don’t speak much but charades does great and they love my efforts 😂. But your so right about how one has to adapt to and embrace and undertand so much more than just literal language

Please join us in praying for this missionary family in Brazil. Phil, the father has Covid and is doing poorly. The medivac team assessed him last evening and determined he was too sick to survive the trip. He’s in critical condition.
This dad is a close friend of several of our friends. Join us in praying for a miracle.
a video about our family and our daughter singing at a fundraiser for the chinese orphans we help. I never realized the heartbreaking trauma they suffer. No mom or dad to love them. The video shows some serious medical babies we cared for in our home. These days we have a poor rural country orphanage we are helping.

@speakthetruth we were sent to one in Foukouka Japan and stayed with them for a week but they are not recommendable. I do have a friend in a Tokyo I can ask if you still are interested to know.
@sinbach prices are indeed increasing here! So far not too bad where I am as of yet! But 20% of China is flooded, millions of animals killed during lockdown with no ability to process as factories were closed, avian flu culls chickens, and swine flu too! We are deifnately facing some issues related to upcoming food supply!
