@Berrybunchfamily what brand of tray do you have? I'm thinking I need to try them
@MaryMamuzich it was just a supermarket own brand
any muffin tray should work - you just get a different size of yorkie depending on the tray you use, and the size of the 'holes' it gives you
a heavier grade metal muffin tray should work just fine too though
all i've really brought is a fancy version of a muffin tray - it's just bigger for Yorkies, which can be as big as your baking equipment can allow
Yorkies, the size of a dinner plate, are my favourite, but I haven't got anything that big (some northern England pubs/restaurants will serve you your dinner, tucked inside a Yorkie :-) )
I don't really want to try my nice victoria sandwich cake tins for this........
this is en english version [of amazon], but it looks identical to what I bought in our local supermarket (although mine were only half that price ;-) )
@MaryMamuzich that should work
Just pour the mix, into the hot oil, in one go...first time I tried it and I topped up the batter mix cos I thought it was a but low.... that just makes for really badly mishapen Yorkshire puddings
@MaryMamuzich Whats a waffle iron? That's a new one on me...
@Berrybunchfamily I'm sure the proper name would be Waffle Maker. But... I'm not proper, I'm the waffle maker and the Waffle Maker is to flat irons with funny shaper hole. So, this waffle maker user a Waffle Iron Maker to make waffles. Is that statement "clear as mud"?
@Berrybunchfamily oh my goodness! Type errors plenty! Too much coffee this morning - I have the shakes!
@MaryMamuzich Lol
@MaryMamuzich makes sense...its just not what my tired brain imagined up
@Berrybunchfamily 🤣🤣🤣💜 waffle maker?? What do you call them?
We do have Birds Eye potato waffles (waffly versatile)
That was their tagline and advert back in the day lol
@Berrybunchfamily like over loading a waffle iron!
