@Berrybunchfamily what brand of tray do you have? I'm thinking I need to try them

@MaryMamuzich it was just a supermarket own brand

any muffin tray should work - you just get a different size of yorkie depending on the tray you use, and the size of the 'holes' it gives you

a heavier grade metal muffin tray should work just fine too though

all i've really brought is a fancy version of a muffin tray - it's just bigger for Yorkies, which can be as big as your baking equipment can allow

Yorkies, the size of a dinner plate, are my favourite, but I haven't got anything that big (some northern England pubs/restaurants will serve you your dinner, tucked inside a Yorkie :-) )

I don't really want to try my nice victoria sandwich cake tins for this........

this is en english version [of amazon], but it looks identical to what I bought in our local supermarket (although mine were only half that price ;-) )

@Berrybunchfamily thank you. I think I have something that will work. It's a muffin pan that makes 4 big muffins.

@MaryMamuzich that should work

Just pour the mix, into the hot oil, in one go...first time I tried it and I topped up the batter mix cos I thought it was a but low.... that just makes for really badly mishapen Yorkshire puddings

@Berrybunchfamily I'm sure the proper name would be Waffle Maker. But... I'm not proper, I'm the waffle maker and the Waffle Maker is to flat irons with funny shaper hole. So, this waffle maker user a Waffle Iron Maker to make waffles. Is that statement "clear as mud"?

@Berrybunchfamily oh my goodness! Type errors plenty! Too much coffee this morning - I have the shakes!

@Berrybunchfamily πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ’œ waffle maker?? What do you call them?

@MaryMamuzich

We do have Birds Eye potato waffles (waffly versatile)

That was their tagline and advert back in the day lol

@Berrybunchfamily @MaryMamuzich I think I'll try them too. Our family enjoys trying different foods from around the world. This is completely new to us.

@bethany @Berrybunchfamily me too! I love a good laugh! I use almond milk and I'm allergic to wheat so I use rice flour or almond flour...so it will be very interesting!!

@MaryMamuzich @bethany today's effort. But my slow cooked chicken is still very raw - after 5 hours!! - So I'm rapidly cooking up a pack of sausages instead

@MaryMamuzich @bethany that's kind...I make good food for my family...the chef part? You'd have to ask them - @StevenBerry @TakeN

My older son's can both scratch cook a range of meals though, from curry to lasagna, to everything in between

Steven is especially adept, but Nathan is learning well too

When I married Jo I couldn't cook or clean...(I wasn't really allowed as a child)

They can do it all! πŸ˜‰

@Berrybunchfamily @bethany @StevenBerry @TakeN good they can make their way around a house. They will make their future wives very happy - a perfect help mate.

@MaryMamuzich @bethany @StevenBerry @TakeN that's my plan...prayed every night, since before they were each born, for their future wives :-)

@Berrybunchfamily @bethany last week I did a slow cooked beef roast with potatoes and carrots for 10 hours. Perfect for a day at work.
