I do because I know I do. And I do.
I do when I’m alone with God
My tongue cleaves to the roof of my mouth.
My tongue can’t speak words unknown.
So, I cry because I do know how much He loves me.

Angus Buchan - Trust in Jesus
“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.”
Psalm 91:1-3 ESV

What does it benefit anyone if you have sound theology but don't show the love Christ showed you?

Our Lord Jesus is Lord of the storm, His Father God is God of all things! God The Holy Spirit assures us in our storms of the presence and complete control of the Triune God.
Those who go down to the sea in ships,
Who do business on great waters;
They have seen the works of the Lord,
And His wonders in the deep.
For He spoke and raised up a stormy wind,
Which lifted up the waves of the sea.
They rose up to the heavens, they went down to the depths;
Their soul melted away in their misery.
They reeled and staggered like a drunken man,
And were at their wits’ end.
Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble,
And He brought them out of their distresses.
He caused the storm to be still,
So that the waves of the sea were hushed.
Then they were glad because they were quiet,
So He guided them to their desired haven.
Let them give thanks to the Lord for His lovingkindness,
And for His wonders to the sons of men!
— Psalm 107:23-31

3. Understand the whole Bible
One must not read the Bible with human wisdom, or analyse it with theological knowledge. One should digest the Bible so that the Word becomes our flesh and bones.
The Truth should be understood with righteousness.
4. Listen to the still, small voice while praying
One must receive revelation from above. One must break through the forces of darkness, and have close and direct communion with God. One must enter into the holy of holies with the Lord to take part in intercessory prayers, to receive power in the presence of the Lord to destroy all the wiles of the devil.
Only when the self dies can there be any true gain.
(Part 1) The Last Days Workers by John Sung (1941)
John Sung wrote a letter to Rev William Schubert on October 14, 1941:
We have been praying in the Spirit for 113 days now. It is clear that God is leading us step by step as we reap spiritual benefits along the way.
In the past, I viewed the work of the evangelistic bands as of paramount importance. Now, I think that praying is more important. The spiritual realm knows no bounds.
When I pray in the Spirit, I sense that workers in the Last Days must have the following:
1. Total mortification
One must be totally dead to the world, to the flesh and to oneself. It is the Lord and not oneself that lives. Only when the self dies can there be any true gain.
2. Direct revelation from the Lord Himself
It is not good enough just to preach the Word; one must prophesy as well. Not only must Jesus’ revelations be in his heart, they must be formed in him as well.
The early part of the day has been stressful, due to persistent headaches in the last three weeks I had a consultation at my opticians who has now referred me to my Neurological Consultant, the possibility being that my residual brain tumour may have grown. So now I am sitting waiting on a phone call which may not happen anytime soon from my consultant. In this I am not afraid, my Father God is completely in control. I would appreciate prayer regarding this.
Thank you brethren for your prayers❤
Update : I have just had an unexpected phone consult with the family doctor (GP) who has now added their support in email to my consultant, requesting a quicker appointment. Usually you have to request such phone consults and wait in line...I believe this consult today was an answer to prayer! All glory to Almighty God.
