For the first time since COVID things have felt more positive this last week. People seem less afraid and COVID hasn’t dominated the media. UNTIL we’re told that masks will be compulsory for everyone next week. Made me think.... COVID didn’t disappear, we haven’t had a spike in cases and the risk hasn’t increased. But government decision means we all fall in line. I have no issue at all with wearing masks but what other decisions can they make that we have no choice but to follow?

@Lindseyay my wife and i were just talking about that today in Sweden in regards to what you said about the news. For the first time in a long time - the front page news in sweden didn't have one single article about COVID.
it felt nice.

@sinbach Hoping for a time in Nigeria that the front page won't be about massive Corruption and the gross incompetence of/in the Government.

@sinbach not to mention all other world news that has had zero attention, especially positive stories. Actually enjoyed watching the news this morning... is that weird? Lol.

@Lindseyay haha. no that is not weird. the News is my favorite sport.

@Lindseyay this is exactly why I’m against such policies. I’m just risking a $500 fine in my state now because I think that the mandates are dangerously like a dictatorship.

@Lindseyay I agree with your perspective Lindsey on where will the control stop? Walmart and Kroeger supermarkets now are requiring masks. I plan to go else where as in our county, we have had 0 deaths for 5+ days. The increase of positive cases isn't the issue. I just viewed a video saying even in L.A., California county, the death rates have continued dropping as the positive cases have risen. This is just not adding square.

@Lindseyay And this coin thing...I told my son this morning: This just isn't adding up logical. How can you be short on coins when lots less are using them. There should be a surplus not a deficiency. And with the knowledge now on steroids proving effective as those taking them for asthma are clinically proven to not be as a risk, why are we still in this worldwind? Fervently praying that the Lord will remove the affects so it can't be used. I'm trying to get back to real normal.

@Lindseyay I was just thinking that if everyone simply "disobeyed" these rulings and lived free, opened their businesses, engaged in social gatherings, etc. the media would have to change its narrative because the masses refused to buy into it. The world would go back to "normal" without skipping a beat and the powers that be would lose their grip of fear.
