Praying for the millions of people imprisoned in Shanghai and for everyone in China who is affected by this ruthless, horrific lockdown. 😢😢😢 As you well said, "lockdown" isn't even the right word for this. Luke writes in 3:1 of a Lysanias tetrarch of Abilene. He is mentioned by Josephus in Antiquities 18.237, 19.275, 20.138, and in Greek inscriptions, which Titus Kennedy dates to no later than 29 AD, in agreement with Luke. (p.91)
