@Eben I get what you're saying, but I just meant that we shouldn't waste away our lives waiting for next year because we don't know what it will hold. But I do believe that there are things in life that one cannot change, those things we just have to "adjust to", accept, and embrace. Such as illness or losing a loved one, that can only be done with God.
