Prayers are welcome for a 32 year old disciple living in our home (my husband had the privilege of sharing Jesus with him 11 months ago and afterward he was baptized and has been very eager to learn more of God's Word and share with others). Right now he is going through COVID. The rest of our family is fine. We had this sickness a year ago and I believe our immune response has been very good, praise God. Of course, we are still trying to do what we can to remain healthy. But, I wanted to ask your prayers for our family and especially for this brother in our home.

I was able to talk on the phone to both of my boys last night.

Trying to catch some sunlight at 3 PM right before sunset. The days will get shorter until winter solstice December 21. Not my favorite time of the year before the ground is getting white. Sunny days like today are more of an exception since Nov use to be quite rainy.

@tanjaostman there's an awful lot of depressing news............i've had to learn to ignore some of it or I'll be overwhelmed, and I can take quite a bit of bad news

while in hospital there was a 6 year old having a panic attack..............a 6 YEAR OLD! it breaks my heart to think of that

@sinbach so sick! Poor children! This measure has nothing to do with health and protection.

Imagine....your child leaves home for school in the morning and later that day you discover that the government detained them and all their classmates and sent them to a government quarantine camp because someone in the school was suspected of being exposed to the coronavirus.
This just happened at our sons' secondary school in Hong Kong.
No one at the school was sick.
No one from the school has tested positive.
The detention of all 120 children and sending them to a government quarantine camp was based on POSSIBLE exposure.

Love Norwich University! Our eldest son spent veteran's day celebrations this week helping the Israeli Consulate General tour the campus.

Love Montana State University! Our youngest son, Micah was up at 5 AM this morning in -5C with fellow students helping decorate the streets of Bozeman with flags in honor of Veteran's Day.
So excited for both of our boys and the opportunities they are having in University.

@sinbach good boy! May I ask a question as a non American? When is a former military counted as veteran? All that have served the country abroad, or after a minimum time of serving? In my country, the word veteran is associated with elderly people that used to war for Finland. When I was in school we collected money to veterans that had served during WW2. They are always invited to the presidential palace on Independence day Dec 6. Only a few alive...

@tanjaostman cool. yea in America, all former military members are considered veterans.
