In Italy the situation is really unbearable. Without a vaccination passport you can no longer work. As I have already written to you since the first of September I am at home without work. It's sad but it's happening right under our eyes. I have been a believer for twenty years and I can assure you that it is a very hard test. I am also thinking of expatriation but I don't even know where to go. They took our jobs away! Pray again for my wife and me. Let's pray together for Italy. Remember that what is happening now here could happen anywhere because Italy has been chosen as the world leader for the organization of vaccinations. Thanks again. I love you in Jesus Christ.
@OneofTen Amen. God bless you.
@KarlGessler Amen
To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:
- A time to be born,
- And a time to die;
- A time to plant,
- And a time to pluck what is planted;
- A time to kill,
- And a time to heal;
- A time to break down,
- And a time to build up;
- A time to weep,
- And a time to laugh;
- A time to mourn,
- And a time to dance;
- A time to cast away stones,
- And a time to gather stones;
- A time to embrace,
- And a time to refrain from embracing;
- A time to gain,
- And a time to lose;
- A time to keep,
- And a time to throw away;
- A time to tear,
- And a time to sew;
- A time to keep silence,
- And a time to speak;
- A time to love,
- And a time to hate;
- A time of war,
- And a time of peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 NKJV
What a week I'm having!! My 91 year old mom has covid, along with my two sister, my brother and his girlfriend...I was with them, even -sat between my sisters and didn't catch it. My better half lost his vision in one eye and my puppy got very sick and had to go to urgent care!! Even so, God's blessings are all around! My mom has a bad cough but it's not effecting her oxygen level , one of my sister's got very sick but doing better, the other sister is very tired but feeling ok, my brother got very sick but doing better, his girlfriend needs prayers as she is now feeling very sick. I'm heart sick about my hubby's eye but he does have great vision in his other eye. And...my puppy recovered and still eating every gross thing she finds.
The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
Elijah was a man with a nature like ours,
and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.
And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.
James 5:16-18 NKJV
Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin,
but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
Romans 6:12-13 NKJV
But you have come
- to Mount Zion and
- to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem,
- to an innumerable company of angels,
- to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven,
- to God the Judge of all,
- to the spirits of just men made perfect,
- to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and
- to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.
Hebrews 12:22-24 NKJV
Do you remember what God said to Joshua?
“You’ve got to put your foot on every place to make it yours.”
Just as Joshua and Israel had to “put their feet” on the Promised Land to inherit it, we must “put our feet down” and stand on the promises God has given us in order to inherit His promises to us.
“That through these [the promises] you may be partakers of the divine nature” (2 Peter 1:4).
As you appropriate the promises, you become a partaker of God’s own nature.
This is one of the most astonishing statements in the entire Bible.
The gospel is spelled out perfectly in 1 Corinthians 15:1-5. So simple.
1. Christ died according to the scripture
2. He was buried.
3. He raised from the dead according to the scripture. .
4. He was seen Alive by more than 500 people
5. Our testimony. Paul said "and he also appeared to me" or we could say "our testimony.
We actually add two more at the beginning. They can't understand why christ died according to the scripture if they don't know
1. God made all things perfect.
2. Adam sinned and brought death, sin and curse on all.
Scripture says that the gospel is power to salvation which also means deliverance and healing. All we must do us preach it.
Just tell people
1. The world was perfect
2. Man sinned and brought death and curse and evil
3. Christ died as promised
4. He as buried along with our sin, sickness and pain
5. He raised without that stuff to life for all who beleive. .
6. He was seen Alive by 500 plus people
7. He changed my life and saved me!
Easy!!!
The Bible says to “Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth” (Col 3:2).
Paul put this concept in military terms:
“We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ” (2 Cor 10:5).
How does one do this?
Scripture is the mind of God. Not all of His mind, to be sure, but all that God cared to give believers.
To think like God, one must think like Scripture.
That’s why Paul encouraged the Colossians to let the word of Christ richly dwell within them (Col 3:16).
Derek Prince - "By Grace Alone"
Let me present this thought to you: “The will of God will never place you where the grace of God cannot keep you.” If you are in the will of God, no matter how strange, unfamiliar or difficult the situation may be, if you come to the end of all your own strength and resources, bear this in mind: “The will of God will never place you where the grace of God cannot keep you.”

I believe the Western church is generally in the same condition as Martha. You know the truths about God's Word in your head, but you still like to run your own lives.
Like Martha, many Christians cry out, “Lord, if you had just done things according to our plans, we would never have ended up in such a mess.”
Friend, you need to realize that God is not at all interested in your plans. He is only interested in His plans!
So many churches and individual believers think they should make their own plans and strategies, then ask (or in some cases, command) God to bless them.
I am a Christian saved by the grace of God.
My mission is to evangelize and disciple according to the "Great Commission" of Jesus Christ.
I am married to a woman of God who is a truly gift from God, and together we serve the Lord.
For over twenty years I have been engaged in preaching the gospel and teaching the Holy Scriptures in Italy.
