iPhones have been used to arrange terrorist attacks, yet no one is wanting to shut down Apple. Cars have been used to kidnap children, but no one is arresting the CEO of Ford. Multiple murders have been committed on FB LIVE and yet no one is saying we need to arrest Mark Zuckerberg - Yet Parler is being shut down because it is considered to be the forum used by protestors on Jan 6? Such crappola.

@RussellMW @Jimm341 we are vulnerable, but we are learning from Parler. We are watching how they are being attacked and attempting to insulate ourselves from being in the same situation. NotQ is correct - we are not centralized and thank God for Mastodon. They did the heavy lifting and we have made some tailored coding from there. We are mainly set up for attacks from China and Iran, but did not expect it from the US. This is a whole new reality that we are dealing with, but God is awesome. He can do things that are beyond our ability.

@sinbach Eugene, thank you for creating this platform. I think I was in the first 100 adopters or so, realizing the value of it then, but today makes it ever so real. If the President can be silenced, and a major company forcibly and systematically deplatformed, a lone individual has no power to speak online. I am concerned about the vulnerability of this platform to getting flooded with messages from malicious users (seems similar in concept to a denial of service attack). Any thoughts?
