What car did you first drive over 100 MPH in?
I was 16 and it was in a 1988 Yugo.
Yes. A Yugo. πŸ˜‚ 106 MPH and I lived to tell the story.

@sinbach my cousins’s Chrysler, I was 26 🀣

@sinbach I was too afraid to blast off anywhere other than the long stretch of empty, Vegas highway πŸ˜πŸ˜†

@sinbach mine was a 96’ Camry that my grandma sold me for $1 haha. Only took it over a 100mph for a minute though. Heart was pounding

@Ctyree I also had a 67 mustang! I was 16 years old andthefirst night I had it I slept in it!

@sinbach in my 2008 diesel Dodge Avenger. Yes a diesel, I'm still confused how they managed to fit a german VW diesel engine into US made body 🀣 I guess it's a car version of Frankenstein's creation. I'm very fond of this automobile πŸ˜…

@sinbach seriously had no idea what a Yugo car was until I looked it up... It looks like it came from a lego kit my granddaughter had!

@MaryMamuzich it was a funny car. I LOVED it because it was my first car from the 80's. all my other cars were old. I had a job and needed something to drive me back and forth to work. The only problem was the distributer would get moisture in it every time it rained, so I had to carry a hair dryer with me with a long extention cord to dry it out every time it rained. so embarrassing, but that car served me well. When I joined the Marine Corps, my parents took it to the junk yard.

@sinbach you have no idea how much I laughed reading this!!
My first vehicle was a 3/4 ton dodge truck from a Forest Service auction! It was the grossed pond scum green and road like a lumber wagon! Everyone laughed as I bounced around behind the steering wheel on the " smooth" MT roads. I had a lot of headaches!! 🀣🀣

@sinbach Toyota Tercel, at 17 years old and from 90-100 MPH the whole engine was shaking

@sinbach a VW on I-5 while stationed in North Island, San Diego

@biblexplorer must have been at midnight. πŸ˜‚ I know the I-5 well and it is always jammed during the day.

@DevotionalTreasures it did not want to say on the road. it was a light car. it was great when it would get stuck in the snow. you could literally lift up the back and swing it over to an area with more traction.

@sinbach Me at 17 in a Ford focus st
I think 132 mph will satisfy me for now.
Me at 18 looking for a airport runway to see exactly how fast my car will go.πŸ˜€
