US Marine Corps just became the first service to adopt silencers for all it's infantry units.
Good move.
Staying at the tip of the spear.
As Christians perhaps we too could use some silencers in the enemy's territory? Less advertising of our activities to keep from giving heat signatures to the enemy. Silent operations to reach the loss to keep from drawing attention from enemy camp? Less noise so that team can hear commands of commander instead of chaos of battle? 🤔

@sinbach I think naturally frontline missionaries will be having to silence more and more these days! Good word picture!

Because of this it's hard to know what to even say to frontline missionaries online or in email. It's frustrating but I know it's important to be very discrete.

@sinbach Depending on the level of communist encroachment the Biden Administration accomplishes it may soon be par for the course here in the US as well. Wise to continue preparation especially in the digital domain.

@sinbach
While I absolutely agree with spiritual guerrilla warfare and not playing by the devil's "rules of war", I wonder.
Which is truly more effective: the Maccabean Revolt or the Cross? The "exploits" of the saints in Daniel or the witness of the two witnesses in Revelation 11?
I ponder over the words of Jesus to flee to another city vs standing in the evil day? Is it more effective to charge against Goliath with a sling or to stab Eglon with a dagger. Whatever the case there is a cause so lets get busy and use the tools that our King has trained us to use.

@sinbach I have been thinking that way myself. We probably draw too much unnecessary attention to ourselves in the western church. Announcing our activities less plus spending more time with God, seeking Him to work, would probably bring more lasting fruit in the Kingdom of Christ.
