@sinbach ok! If you like high intensity training, then cool weather is better... Maybe I think that the grass is greener on the it here side... To be honest there are few places on the earth where you can move so easily (because of cool weather) and freely (right of public access, so much space, and nothing to fear) as in the Nordic countries. We have trails in the forest only a 5 min walk from home where we use to walk or run or mountain bike. And pick berries. So yes, I really get that you appreciate the cold!
@sinbach Thank you! So you are more of a snow and mountain guy? 😊 We should trade places... Maybe I am "marked" by my two years of my childhood in Thailand. I dream more and more of moving south... (Even if Finland is a great country in many ways) I love winter sporting, but hate the dark winters here and the bad (= rainy) winters, that have become more common in my country, especially along the coast where we live...
@sinbach sounds nice with diving! (Not so nice with mask mandates and curfew). Oh how I miss the sun, and I would like to visit Florida some time (haven't even visited the country yet). We are half way through the four dark months in Finland. But, life is not bad right now. We are skiing downhill and cross country 400 km north east from home (too little snow at home). Happy New year!

The reason they are pushing this latest lockdown so hard, is because it is imperative that they destroy the economy quickly. They can't bring in 'The Great Reset' until our economy is truly dead. TIME TO FIGHT BACK NOW!!!!!!

Here you go: Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot says in a recent speech that we must "pledge allegiance to the New World Order". That is a quote! They're not even hiding it any more! That woman, with that enlarged forehead, looks like something out of an old horror flick! Well, we all know why she looks that way: she's the poster child for AIR HEAD! She looks like the type you would NEVER want to have around your kids & grandkids! Creepy!
Soon we in the Western world might need to learn from Christians in underground Churches... If we don't want a watered down faith, and Churches that are approved by the government.

@MaryMamuzich thank you! We have lots and lots of trees here. I suppose the climate where you live is not very different from our climate. Soon we will get winter (here winter means snow).

A Sunday Morning service was raided by the police in China this week. 6 leaders were arrested. Instead of running the other Christians went to the police station and sang hymns through the night.
