So we went home in a Rickshaw! And our home is a loooong way from town! But this old man was SO sweet!!! Who could refuse such a kind soul? He saw taxis giving us a hard time, so he came forward to help us. I thought it was too far (which is why I didn’t even consider it at first) but he smiled a toothless grin and say “no problem” so ...... ok! We hopped in and enjoyed the ride home so much. Cold wind blowing through the windows and cracks in the welded together metal frame. From Now on I will always seek the rickshaws now that I know they can make it home! I’d rather give my money to the elderly and those who are more poor and I always use them in town!
As I soaked it all in I was reminded that these are some of the most precious moments here in China that one can never experience in North America.

@lynnexxa I tried to download a short video as it’s even more interesting, but I don’t know how to make it smaller so it can work. 😂.
Yes, it is full of unique moments. Some fun and some downright hard. Tonight was so nice and we got to bless the man who drove us too! We always try show love and tell them why we love the people of China ❤️

@weavers4jesus That's fantastic! China looks like a wonderful country in many ways; I'm glad that you can experience it and interact with the people like a tourist never could.

@lynnexxa there are not a lot of foreigners here so they are always surprised when they find out we actually live here. In fact we were basically the only ones in our area when we arrived in China and we were a large family so many people learned and talked of us. We became known as the family that cares for orphans.

China is amazing and very different. 10 minutes from us is country and you step back about 20 years at least. In fact they use oxen and manpower with hoes to plow fields. No tractors or combines. And medical is back to around the 50’s? But here where we live it has been steadily improving. Men used to be seen biting sticks in emerg for pain. But overall medical is behind about 20 years for the most part.

@weavers4jesus @lynnexxa Such a heart-warming experience. Thanks for sharing! So glad you could both bless and be blessed in this special way. It's also wonderful that you're there to care for the orphans. I'm sure you also think often of James 1v27.

@Cherishingsparrows2020 I always wish we could do more. Until I came here and held them in my arms I never realized how painful of a life orphans live. I so desperately wish more would be adopted so they can feel the love of a family. 😔

@weavers4jesus @lynnexxa
China is one of the specific nations I intercede for. May God surround you with His angelic host to guard, guide, minister, and equip you in everything that you put your hands on. May He guide you as to embrace and those to keep at arm’s length. May His Holy Spirit draw the lost to His light in you and many souls saved by the power of the cross. May the light of His presence lead you in the way you should go-in the natural and the spiritual. Bless this family, Lord, and because this family is Your ambassador, may their neighbors also be blessed, healed, protected, and provided for as well. May they turn away from idolatry and ancestor worship. May every barrier that keeps them from totally surrendering to You topple-under Jesus’s feet. In Jesus’s mighty and loving name, Amen.

@Chickadee AMEN AMEN AMEN! 🌹🙏🌹

China is blessed to have you praying for them! And so are we!
