@sinbach Three Self Same?

Just saw CCP cracked down on Signal platform.

Save or Prep?
Thoughts?

If Prep... aside from ammo, what?

“Christ sends us to serve Him, not in our own strength, but in His resources and might. “We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath prepared that we should walk in them.” We do not have to prepare them; but to wear them as garments, made to order for every occasion of our life. We must receive them by faith and go forth in His work, believing that He is with us, and in us, as our all sufficiency for wisdom, faith, love, prayer, power, and every grace and gift that our work requires. In this work of faith we shall have to feel weak and helpless, and even have little consciousness of power. But if we believe and go forward, He will be the power and send the fruits.

...Let us learn to work by faith as well as walk by faith, then we shall receive even the end of our faith, the salvation of precious souls, and our lives will bear fruit which shall be manifest throughout all eternity.”

“I press on, if so be that I may apprehend that for which also I was apprehended by Christ Jesus. Phi 3:12

No master has so many servants as our Master; and for each He has a suitable employment. Even the little maid was at hand to testify to Naaman in his need. Many of us murmur against the position God has given us. We want to do this, but God puts us into that. We have an ambition to serve Him here, but His plan for us lies elsewhere. When faced by such apparent reverses, it is well to remember that God’s purpose for us goes back before our conversion, for His foreknowledge has determined our circumstances even before we were born. God never does a thing suddenly; He has always prepared long, long before. So there is nothing to murmur about, nothing to be proud of, in the calling of God. There is also no one of whom to be jealous, for other people’s advantages have nothing to do with us. When we look back over life, we bow and acknowledge that all was prepared by God.”

Anyone using DingDash in Linux? Setup?

Have almost found alternatives for everything I use (even music production) and am spec’ing out possible platforms and Linux OS options... a brave new world... er not so new lol, I’m L8 to the game :]

@sinbach Brother, on another topic, I would love to see a “bug-out computer”, should the Ekklesia here in the west have to go semi underground. Have you all considered a small format laptop or pc (a la Raspberry Pi), for biblical study, teaching, training etc? I think it would be very proactive to have a manual, parts & software recommendations, and training g along these lines. Even a highly disguised format (looks like a book etc). Thoughts?

BTJ’s Bible Pill was a brilliant concept.

@ChiaChatter Curious... with Linux are their shell programs that can work well for Microsoft Office programs, etc.? ... or work as a shell for Windows based programs?

@lynnexxa I'm also wanting to create the "Plan B", lol :D. Perhaps Linux, FOSS, TOR, etc. I'm also desirous and hopeful of seeing a "Light Web" alternative crafted at some point. I suppose I'm looking for a "bug out" option for our family that will still allow us to utilize the word processing and bible programs we love with highly secured and "light" internet use options. Basically a way for us to continue to use these very effective tools without being monitored or tracked.

Question for everyone... After Apple banned Parler I've been reconsidering my studio setup, which has been Mac based for many years. Though I try to somewhat stay with a tech direction that seems to be the most honoring to the Lord it has basically become a "meat sacrificed to idols" scenario so my question really is more along the lines of freedom of the OS. As a software engineer I'm saavy on both systems, but have quite a bit of $$$ tied into the Apple framework and Applications I use. So my question is really, is there a better choice in light of the censorship and technical overreach we may see more of in the future? Thanks for your thoughts!

Dusted Shoes, MEBack, Dune Surf, Dune Harvest, Silver Dune, Dune Cast, Back Cast, Crescent Cloud, Tech Tent, Neon Dune, Neon Tent, Neon Tech, Smiling Storm, Windburn, Classy Camel... I’ll stop there lol. Most have open .com URLs.

@sinbach Oh, I didn't see this! Carmen came out with "Radically Saved" the year I met the Lord in 10th grade. The album came with a free album to give away. I had the poster "Radically Saved" stuck to my locker door... it pretty much said quickly everything that had happened to me. "The Champion" and many others shaped new ways of communicating the Gospel. I performed Christian Mime all throughout Europe and one of my favorite teachers, Todd Farley of Mimeistry, performed "The Champion", see link. Well Done Carmen.

@sinbach If more Christians were as faithful to their vision and "mission" this world, most certainly America, would be a very different place. Rush was an example of tenacity till the end.

@sinbach Depending on the level of communist encroachment the Biden Administration accomplishes it may soon be par for the course here in the US as well. Wise to continue preparation especially in the digital domain.
