October 19 will always be one of the most special days of the year for me. It was the day my life changed when my son was born.

@bethany Minna had a hard birth and needed rest, so I slept holding Caleb like that all night long.
@bethany oh, and I was ALWAYS running operations outdoors, so I was a constant shade of bronze instead of the pasty look I'm sporting these days.

Awww that is precious. It's pretty wild how similar you look to my cousin, He's in the Navy though, not the Marines. Also October 19th is my maternal grandmother's birthday (she's been in Heaven for almost 5 years). And it is my Aunt's birthday (the daughter-in-law) of my grandmother. Interesting..
