A pair of lovely goldfinches are busily building a nest just outside one of our windows. These are two ridiculously pretty little birds with perfectly defined bands of golden yellow and glorious red!

What a joy to see them beavering away looking as beautiful as God intended them to look, building their nest, with not a care in the world - even the wind we have today is blowing them all over the place, and yet they sit on a small branch, steady as a rock. What a reminder to be peaceful amongst the winds of life.

It reminds me of Matthew 6:26-34 (NLT)
Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?...and so much more heavenly wisdom

Listening to a spot of Magnum nice and loud after my usual, extremely pleasant, cycle to the coast - to blow away the cobwebs, and loosen my back muscles after several days glued to my computer compressing all of the 450 videos we've so far created for BerryBunch

Compression has finished. Uploading to our cloud storage is done. And I've started the longer process of adding them all to Vimeo for ad free viewing!

Done quite bit of editing to my next book too since I've had none of the usual video editing to do this week.

Time for a very late breakfast, since it's now 12:30 in the afternoon!

I've been working hard at editing my second book - yesterday and today. So I'm off for a cycle for some shopping, before coming back home and jumping at it again. I need to stretch my legs and a good hard cycle should fix that particular problem! Also, we have nothing for dinner tonight = quite the motivator!

This one I'm working on right now should, God willing, be out some time in May if things go well, or June if they don't (it's good having a goal to aim for!). I'll run some teasers with the name and cover at some point after Easter.

And, then, I can start work on the other two books I have sitting waiting to be edited, plus a second volume of the one I'm currently working on today (mostly written and awaiting time for editing), and then one on Marriage too (taken from the episodes of our podcast - Marriage Matters).

These are wise words on the reason why we pray - from my good friend Andy Brown, and his brilliant book "A Journey With Jesus - 40 Day Devotional".

A great way to make sure I don't jump too fast into a busy day is to take some time out, first! Wisdom I learned a long time ago - because the busiest days need gaps for air!!!

So I did a thing !

I clicked the publish button for my first book...which means the eBook will be available for pre-order within the next 72 hours.

Both the paperback version, and eBook version, will be published - on Amazon from Friday 25th March.

Feeling both nervous and excited for my new little baby - Broken Dreams, and Hope!

My second proof came today. First proof was too big a book, with too small a font size!

Just one edit to make (to the spine) and it's good to go.

Spent a couple of weeks working on the vision for our online ministry, and this is our finished effort.

I often joke about there being a ‘Lord of the Rings’ line or quote to fit every situation in life.

Well, I would I’m a ‘Lord of the Rings’ fan! In saying that there is depth to some of the lines and quotes from the film or book whether from Gandalf, Bilbo Baggins, Frodo, or Sam or any of the other characters.

“It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.” (Isaiah 55:11).

You can’t kill off hope!

A quick little blog post that I wrote today, on this Sunday.

Because the small spot of sun, that was poking around a curtain, inspired me to remember to never give up hope!

Romans 5 points us to a hope, not in a something, but a someone. And that someone has a name, and that name is Jesus Christ!

Today, I've done lots of editing, filmed and scheduled another Andy B 2 Minute Video (out tomorrow evening), cleaned the shower room, cleaned the kitchen sink and cleaned and the glass on the log burner...I'm not sure it's been done for a very long while, and it needs another couple of goes to get it properly clean.

But, for the first time since we moved in a month ago, we can actually see the fire when it is burning!!

England is a tad gusty where we live.

We've been busy getting back into BerryBunch.family videos this week, with a 60 Second Update coming back today, and we've got a brand new series of Endurance with @StevenBerry and @TakeN this Sunday from 4pm, another Marriage Matters episode on Saturday, from 4pm - where Jo and I look at Date Night.

Dave the Dog is wanting to do more, but we're frying to figure out the best of working with him - he needs some more house training!

I'm currently working on another transcript, so you can watch the video, listen to the podcast version, or read the transcript of what is being said 😊 and all, as ever, for free.

#TestimonyTuesday taster

I saw a post by Nicola over on her blog - EagleSight - which is a great blog I highly recommend.

Anyway, she wrote a post earlier and floated the idea of #TestimonyTuesday. It went down with a treat, and I loved the idea, so we'll be doing our own #TestimonyTuesday right here on the BerryBunch.family blog.

Testimonies are so powerful because they are truths from our life. I love reading them, and look forward to reading many more.

So, as a little bit of a taster for this new, regular, feature, here's an extra testimony (actually two today)...on a Thursday...which still starts with a "T". So, it's nearly the same...

A beautiful view from our lounge window.

The day has begun, and the BerryBunch.family is very much up and busy today.

Jo's been at her office a good long while already. Washing is on the line. Dishwasher is on and the kitchen tidied. Fireplace is cleaned and refreshed for this evening.

The boys have all been beavering on their home ed for quite a while now too.

And, very excitingly for me, I recorded 4 X Andy B 2 Minute Videos last night in our new studio set up (SO much easier now!!!!!!!) and I'm super excited to edit them later - they'll be published from Monday next week. Which means we're properly back at it again 😊😎

The porridge I made is keeping me warm and set me up for a busy day. No cycling today though...am not back up to daily trips out just yet!

Did I mention we're loving the new home?!? And having slave to breathe out 😌
