This verse encouraged me during my quiet time a couple of days back. Hoping it might encourage somebody else πŸ™‚

Andy B

Well, I'm not living in my parent's house anymore but that makes me laugh πŸ˜‚

Two of my sons' replies:

Peter (10)
"Living out your faith means not trusting in yourself, but trusting God instead to work through you."

Steven (16)
"Living out your faith is believing and trusting that Jesus existed and did what He did. And living my life like Jesus did - following His examples and teaching; copying how He lived."

@Olamide not so much focus on the Holy Spirit in self help books I guess...wouldn't really help them - I've never read one be honest (never had one in front of me to read...and I'm ok with that)

Perhaps this is a bigger reason why the Bible is powerful and popular πŸ™‚

Perhaps that, and the fact the Bible is alive πŸ™‚ - far more than any film or drama.

@Olamide @Rinati @sinbach yep I'm blocking them too. The nice thing is they stay blocked on DingDash and I get to control whether I wish to see them or not πŸ˜‰!!

Thursday morning question - my mind is wandering and pondering:
"What does living out your faith mean to you?" (As opposed to having faith or having a faith - which is a different question for another day)

Growing.....DingDash now has users from Australia, Bhutan, Bolivia, Canada, England, Germany, India, Nepal, New Zealand, Nigeria, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Vietnam, and USA.

We can get so busy trying to find solutions, when God already has one.

Andy B

How connected are we to God?

Are we fully connected to God and the people around us, or just partly - doe we look more connected than we really are?

Andy B

Poker. For or against? I've heard people say that you should never play poker and I've heard people say it's ok as long as you don't gamble. What do you think?

@sinbach lol. Saw this advert on the Babylon Bee earlier today....made me chuckle!

Andy B

"There will always be someone who can't see your worth. Don't let it be you."

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile- Romans 1:16

Easier said than done...
A gentle answer turns away anger, but a harsh word stirs up wrath.
Proverbs 15:1 CSB

@Rinati you're very welcome πŸ™‚
