We often wrestle with God. And this go badly for us – just like it did for Jacob when he had his hip dislocated while having a very non-gentleman-like wrestle with an angel.

But some wrestles are good and God is behind us, encouraging us to press on.

Andy and family bought a Christmas Tree. And to get it Andy B had to wrestle to get the one he wanted – the one at the back.

in all the work with children we've done - and some of it has been on schools where everything you say is limited and observed

so i'm always encouraged by scripture - that whenever we quote scripture, it can not come back void! 🙂

Psalm 8:2 comes to mind...

That if we want to see revival, we need to rally the troops who, by just their worshipping alone, can silence the enemy......a constant thought behind all I do!

I'm a children's minister, so have some bias here. But I'm also a musical worship leader of some 30 years plus.

Children's ministry always attracts FAR more determined, and serious, spiritual opposition than any opposition I've ever encountered leading musical worship.

We've got emergency electrical works near our home today, so no power, so there won't be a Daily Family Prayers today.

We won't be doing one tomorrow either, so we'll return, God willing, on Monday.

Thankfully, the power of God can never be turned off!

Andy’s first experience of a Christingle was when he led the team that delivered one to nearly 800 guests at a church in Hampshire. When the first candle was accidentally lit early, it certainly made for an interesting baptism of fire!
