@heartnsoulr1 Wait. "Free" Ukraine? Denounce their governments actions? I'm not sure I understand what this is saying. Are they for Russia "freeing" the people of Ukraine from their government?

@Berrybunchfamily My name is Darlene. Cherishing Sparrows is my Ding Dash and email name, because I am generally cautious about any type of social media. I had a bad experience with Facebook years ago (not so much due to my Facebook "friends", but to whomever is behind the scenes). I chose Cherishing Sparrows, because God sees and cares about the little things and He sees me. I want to share His heart for those the world my overlook. I want to have eyes to see as He sees and to cherish the sparrows.

@ZGoldenReport There is so much suffering around the globe. It seems the general media only focuses on what advances the political causes they want to support, whatever that cause may be. It's been that way for years. I used to wonder why the attrocities in Sudan weren't in the news... And, as you are highlighting, why is there so much silence about Myanmar? And, what about Nigeria? And, even with the situations that are in the news, what is the full story? When they want to change the focus it can almost give you whiplash if you really care about the situation and suddenly can't find info on that topic anymore.

But it is good for me to draw near to God;
I have put my trust in the Lord God,
that I may declare all Your works.

Psalms 73:28 NKJV

@Berrybunchfamily I do have testimonies! I will love to share sometime🙂
Tonight I have a testimony to share, but it's not my own. My husband's cousin lived with us over a period of several years and then married a year ago this past December. She and her husband maintain a close relationship with is and join is for our evening meal (do you call it dinner or supper?🙂) most Wednesdays. Two of her brothers have been living in Kiev, Ukraine. They had no money to leave. They are young men and men were not being allowed to leave. They are Ghanaian and apparently black people were not being allowed to leave. God worked several miracles and they are now in Poland! This was truly a miraculous escape. Maybe it was a compassionate police officer, or was it an angel who assisted them? One of these young men didn't even have his passport as it was out of the country for renewal.

Is there any hope for our nation ?
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.” (John 11:25-26)

I received (yesterday) this forwarded message from a sister in Christ in Finnish, and again my own translation of it to English:

"We got a message yesterday from our friend in Kiev:
I want to encourage you with the words of our known soldiers and of other common people who are coming from different warfronts. They tell:
"We feel your prayers. Sometimes happens something very inexplicable, like an invisible hand really would direct the bullets and other ammunitions away from us so that they fly us by. We get victories in very difficult situations, like if someone was guiding them. We become invisible to our enemy, but we self can see them in complete darkness so that we know what and how to react. All of this is giving us courage and strenght. We believe that the Lord Jesus himself is protecting Ukraine. We ask you, please, don't quit your prayers, but keep on praying. We need you!"

“Great is Thy faithfulness,” O God my Father,
there is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not as Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be.

“Great is Thy faithfulness!” “Great is Thy faithfulness!” Morning by morning new mercies I see; all I have needed Thy hand hath provided
“Great is Thy faithfulness,” Lord, unto me!

Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest, Sun, moon and stars in their courses above, join with all nature in manifold witness
to Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!

@sarikorpi wow. Praying on! Was praying just yesterday for Russian bullets to be redirected".

Wow - thanks for sharing

The coming night and tomorrow day are critical moments. At stake is everything, what the whole civilisized world believes and what it has built so far.

With tears in our eyes we request you, no matter on what time zone you are in, to spend time in prayer and fasting in front of God. 🙏

Pray the Lord to protect us from insane armies, which wants to mock at the cost of faith and God's truth.

We ask you to share this message to all your friends, relatives and acquaintances in Europe, Asia, America and all over the world!

Prayer is stronger than the strongest enemy🙏🙏🙏!

Your brothers and sisters from Ukraine 💙💛

@DevotionalTreasures our family prayer time today was specifically about Putin meeting Jesus, or more specifically for Jesus to go meet him in person

Putin is the one man that can end these troubles.

Jesus is the only way to end these troubles

Let's go "Back to Jerusalem " through Sri Lanka !
Jesus is the solution to the challenges is facing today.

From a pastor in Ukraine. I found it on FB, "Radiant Israel."

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

— 1 Timothy 2:1-4 (NKJV)

"One of the most basic mandates for the Christian is to pray for the government. God intends His church to exercise a decisive influence for good in the affairs of the nations".

From Derek Prince's book, Praying for the Government

@sinbach God is stirring Polish hearts to throw all they've got and help Ukrainians in this dark time.
I see reports of tens of thousands of Polish guys and girls rushing to help: organizing convoys to the border to pick up refugees, buying necessary items and shipping them where needed the most, hosting refugees in their own apartments.
From both ends of the political views, above denominations, we stand united for our Ukrainian brothers and sisters.

Our country was SUPER divided for the last 2 years, now I start to see that we are becoming one again.

Reminder when u go shopping. Organic strawberries are covered in seeds, slice and plant them.
Potatoes grow from the store, ginger root and turmeric root, green onions, all grow from the produce section.
Organic blueberries have seeds to grow a bush.
Next go down the spice isle and buy spices that are organic and whole seed, ex: fennel seed, dill, mustard, cumin you get the idea. Happy growing.
