@lynnexxa @tanjaostman I've been blessed by hearing testimonies of people from the Mormon community who truly gave their lives to Jesus. The testimonies are so encouraging. But, these people faced persecution from the Mormon community for embracing the true Gospel.

@lynnexxa @tanjaostman We should treat everyone with God's love. I'm glad your parents came to the Lord as a result of the missionaries.
I don't doubt there are many sincere people who are part of LDS, but there are many sincere people in all kinds of religions. The LDS people talk about Jesus, but they don't follow the true Gospel. They have a different "gospel". It's not a matter of small differences in beliefs, but a totally different understanding of God and life. It can sound very similar to the Christian faith on the surface, but then things get very strange as you go deeper. Have you watched any of their movies? It's an odd feeling to think you're watching a Christian movie and then it turns weird. I've experienced this with Mormon movies and with a Chinese cult as well. I forgot the name of the Chinese one, but they have several names for the same group. It looks good at first and they use Christian words, but...NO.

PLEASE HELP
My wife and I had a premature child (26 week term, now 4 weeks post gestation)
Baby needs a blood transfusion. Blood banks, while asking Vax status and supplier, claim they are not sorting donor blood and you cannot request 'clean' blood. (free from mRNA and graphene oxide)

We NEED a type O negative donor for our son, anywhere within the continental US, who is:

Not vaccinated for covid
Blood Type = O negative
No serious disease
Willing to donate blood

@sinbach Thanks! That does sound simple and delicious. All the nutrients and Omega 3s are certainly a plus too!

Christians' ability to speak biblical truth is at risk in Finland due to an overly broad hate speech provision in Finnish law. In a stunning case, a Christian member of the Finnish parliament, Päivi Räsänen, has been charged by the Finnish prosecutor general with three counts of "ethnic agitation." Each count relates to Räsänen's respectful expression of her widely-held Christian beliefs.

@Olamide Very interesting topic! I've experienced situations where there can be a feeling of "friendlessness" and yet so many ways to "serve", so many events to attend, and so much money to contribute. And yes, friendliness is not the same as true friendship. However, I don't feel right to sit back and to criticize or complain. I'm wondering how I can make a difference. My local group has so many good qualities, but I still feel something is missing in this area. Is it my own insecurities? Is it the environment where everyone needs to appear to have it all together? I've had times where I opened up and then felt awkward, judged, or misunderstood. Maybe I then felt less safe in being open and real? Maybe I need to get over my own fear of being misunderstood and be a leader in the area of authenticity? I do strive to be genuine in life, as a friend, and as a child of God. I also want to grow as a true "listener". I can't be everyone's close friend, but I want to be a true friend.

Timothy* grew up as an orphan in North Korea at the time of the 1990s famine. As a teenager, he decided to cross the Tumen River into China in a bid for survival. This is how coming across a safe house, run by Open Doors partners in China, set him on the path to finding Jesus…

Psalm 84...
5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in You,
Whose heart is set on pilgrimage. ...
12 O LORD of hosts,
Blessed is the man who trusts in You!

@faith20 We can become used to the words and fail to ponder the power in what they are saying. What a wonderful truth, what a wonderful love, what a wonderful God, that He sent Jesus to remove our sin and make us clean and accepted in Him!

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

I John 4:10 NKJV

The word of God is not chained.

II Timothy 2:9 NKJV

Thank all of you for your prayers for our family. losing Debbie left a big hole in our hearts - that only God can fill. praying God brings His comfort to all of us. too many families are losing loved ones due to hospitals denying medicines that could save their lives. our church has lost 5 people to covid in 2
weeks - all were put on ventilators.

these families and our church need prayer

It’s amazing to think that Jesus is alive. That even his words are living. That his words are life. They resonate truth and Justice and the way to live forever. I could never find these words and the life they give me if it wasn’t for Jesus being alive. If it wasn’t for Holy Spirit being sent to me from Jesus himself because he lives I would not live.
Because he lives… I can face tomorrow.
Because he lives all fear is gone.
Because I know he holds the future and life is worth living just because he lives.
So, I live in him forever bound in love and unity with Holy Spirit and embraced as a son of the Father for eternity.
