Sir Harry Secombe was a regular part of Sundays in our house when I was a kid. My mum listened to him on "Songs of Praise." @Asianking
I make no apology for sharing this great hymn sung by a long departed saint of God, Sir Harry Secombe. It seems to me that this old fashioned hymn is more pertinent today in these days of growing persecution.

Brand new here. Having trouble navigating. Watched the tutorial but didn't help much. Hope I can figure it out and meet new friends here. I am looking to encourage and be encouraged by brothers and sisters that have left the church system and are walking with Jesus on that lonely path. He's faithful and true. Bless His holy name.

Almighty and glorious God, who lives in eternal light, I praise you for your glory and grace.
I pledge to you, dear Father, that I will not take that grace for granted or trample on its gift.
At the same time, I ask you to empower and lead me with your Holy Spirit to do your will and honor your grace with a life that is holy, and wholly yours.
Through the name of the Lord, I pray. Amen.

I read a book a while back called "The New Silk Road" which was a big eye opener as to the longterm regional and wirldwide economic plans. Investment and construction of major ports and highways are a huge goal towards world dominance economically. @sinbach
