We are right to fight against corruption. But we need to recognize that every lie we tell ourselves or others is also corruption. We need to clean house from the roots up by repenting to God for the sin of dishonesty.

Thinking of answered prayers reminds me of old fashioned phone switchboards you dialed to call folks, but wouldn’t be able to connect until the switchboard operator put you through. Our prayers have the quickest switchboard operator in the business, the Holy Spirit!

Isaiah Chapter 30:18-26
"Therefore the LORD is waiting to show you mercy, and is rising up to show you compassion, for the LORD is a just God. All who wait patiently for Him are happy." 30:18
We find joy and happiness only in God's presence. God wants us to be in His presence, He wants to show us mercy and compassion, all we have to is cryout and He will answer our cry, as soon as He hears, without delay, and allow us to come into His presence. (v 18-19)
God doesn't just leave us to figure out life by ourselves. He teaches us and guides us, always right behind us instructing us on which way to go. (v 20-22)

The comparison between the Israelites in the wilderness and persecuted Christians going into the world is an accurate one. Essentially the primary source of success is fervent prayer by all believers. These are the points I gleaned from this excellent post. @bethany

"People are looking for answers and asking why China is having a revival when they are not. The answer is very simple. The leadership in China is fervently seeking after God in prayer."
We want so much to give our best to our Father God, but all we can lay before him is our feeble self which He already owns. His Love for us is rich and free, living within me. My surrendered receptacle is the best I can offer Him in thankfulness and humility.
