If we don’t have peace from within, world peace doesn’t matter to us much. Many seek distractions to relieve inner turmoil due to all sorts of anxieties from within. But nobody can escape themselves. No matter what we do or our circumstances, the only true peace we can have is the peace Jesus promises His people of a believing heart.

The main reason why Jesus was born also became His main accusation that led to His crucifixion. Jesus was born to be the King of His kingdom on earth. This new kingdom is to be established in the hearts of regenerated men and women.
"Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice." John 18:37
The accusation against Jesus that was hung over His head on the cross was, "THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS." Matthew 27:37
