@StevenBerry that was my thought. why have i never thought of this before? is there a side to this that i am not seeing? is this robbing God? or is this blessing people as the Church is supposed to? I am not sure of the theological implications, BUT i do know that i like the lack of fear in this process. no one is worried about going without. no one is worried about people abusing the system. i saw a joy in the giving last night - a joy that lacked fear. a joy that lacked caution. a joy that gave like God's grace knows no bounds. a joy of living life and giving to others without reservation. ....and i liked it
@Miracle17 Love is the best gift of all. Your son is very handsome.
@sinbach Is there anything like a "live video" feature coming to Ding Dash perchance?
@bethany I love these special times of coming together with the DD family to pray for our brothers and sisters. My words fail to describe the pain I feel in my heart yet the calm assurance that God is faithfully abiding with them brings me hope as I feel so helpless. Come, Lord Jesus come.
@sinbach Wow. I don't know what to say. I'm SHOCKED! 😂
🙏🏼 12 Days of Christmas Prayers 🙏🏼
Today we pray for Pakistan. Pakistan holds a special place in the heart of BTJ. It is the nation where the first BTJ missionaries were martyred.
Join together with us as we pray for Pakistan and for the missionaries who continue to faithfully serve there.

They say that truth is stranger than fiction. That must certainly be true about the first Christmas if we take Jesus' birth narratives as facts. And the question is: do we take the virgin birth accounts as facts?
I recorded some simple Christmas songs this past week. I think you will enjoy them. One more will be coming out later today!

Many Christians know next to nothing about the events which gave us Hanukkah. But maybe we should. This week, I will share some thoughts on the Apocrypha, the book of Maccabees, and the stories that gave us Hanukkah. There may be some needed examples to follow inside these books the Protestant Church never reads.

@sinbach Awesome! Praise God!
Don't believe everything you see on the news. I spent weekend in Portland&Seattle and there are some brave patriots bucking system, running small businesses, serving families, and not laying down to the threats of Marxists.
This cafe was packed with young rebellious teenagers - not following the masses by smashing cars or beating old ladies - but breaking the law by participating in *gasp* a group Bible study. LOVE IT!
If even there is but one candle's flame left to flicker, there is hope.
We have had some incredible experiences worshiping outside Planned Parenthood recently.
I struggle with self-worth issues, as most people do. Sometimes it is hard to believe that God loves me or, at least, likes me. Christian teachers have often said that God loves us. But they have also said that we are totally depraved and incapable of goodness. Then there are scriptures like Matthew 5:17-20 where Jesus seems to be saying, "You aren't good enough, and you need to try harder." So, does God love us as we are? Or do we need to good enough for Him first?
