Adams and Lincoln could make a call to repentance and so could William Bradford, Pilgrim governor of Massachusetts, However, ultimately it's the job of the church led by the Holy Spirit.
Who calls you to repentance? Do you wait to hear it from the president of the United States?

Repentance is a key to revival. And we in this country need to repent of the sins we've allowed. America needs another Great.

I know, I know...some of you might hate on me because of this one, but I lived on AM radio during long road trips and if Rush was on, I was there! He wasn't a Christian singer, not a preacher, not a Bible thumper - but still a major contributor to lives around the world and influenced the way I communicate today.

I totally agree the American church is under judgment.
It's not the job of a president to lead people to repentance...that's actually the church's job through the Holy Spirit.
I also remember when getting money from Communists to sell out your country was treason.

Like I said the guy isn't perfect but he was the only president to speak at the March for Life and set up a religious freedom commission.

The situation in the USA is much bigger than this.

Please pray; I got laid off from my job at the Bar Harbor Inn last Friday due to a COVID scare, and am seeking to know what His next step is for me.
In my life, I've made my most expensive mistakes by wanting my will more than His. (Psalm 106:13-15) I SO don't want to do this in this season!
The biggest challenge I'm facing is that my work provides my housing; otherwise, I don't have anything. They are letting me stay, but I have to pay the rent somehow. Should I stay, or be released to have a place of my own?
Please pray for God to provide a beautiful place to call home.

If he was the enemy why did he rescue Christian missionaries?
Why did he sign orders limiting abortion?
Why did he go after gangs and human trafficking?
I am not starting his communications were/are perfect orbut actions speak louder than words.

@tanjaostman thank you for posting this. I feel for Soheila. I praise the Lord the work He's doing through her. I live in the UK, and the situation is similar, but I think not as bad as Sweden. "Remember what I told you: “A servant is not greater than his master.” If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also." (John 15:20) I was called to distribute scripture cards to Muslim areas in the UK.

Pray for Myanmar and our dear friends there. We heard yesterday thousands of prisoners were released from prison and told to burn houses and make room for civil disobedience citizens and government workers to be jailed. Many Doctors and nurses have been detained. Free prisoners are burning houses whole night. Pray for the Lord's destiny to be fulfilled in this heavily Buddhist nation. Their internet was going to be turned off from the 14th of Feb through the end of the month but some still have internet. Last week many Chinese planes were flying into Myanmar and 2 N Korean planes flew in. Army and police are arresting people at night and taking them to unknown locations and they are not heard from again, for now. From a friend just now: History is unfolding right now there. Watchmen and intercessors proclaim the Lord's will and peace and protection over the innocent.

I've been using your Chasing Revival as my study and devotional on my phone or listening for the audiobook. However I ordered the book and so enjoy it more. I guess I am just old school but I love being able to touch the pages and go back and read and underline in it.
It is really good.

@tanjaostman So sad and disheartening. Judgement begins in the house of God. If the Lord has brought this to light, what will He do to those in the world who have hidden or have tried to hide so much?

I am shaken to the core when I am reading this article. There have been serious investigations done. Ravi Zacharias was a highly acclaimed evangelist, author and apologetic.
There are situations that can be misunderstood or one-time mistakes. But if you have saved the phone numbers of 500 (!) masseuses and have saved 200 selfies from young women, including nude pictures, then there is no doubt. He has also been accused of rape.
I still expect those who proclaim to be evangelists and missionaries, to have a higher standard than celebrities. I think titles, platforms, big ministries, lots of money etc is more of a risk and hindrance, than they are necessary.
Those Christians that have influenced me the most and have helped me mature and grow closer to the Lord, have mostly been "nameeless". The kingdom is an upside-down kingdom, where the first will be the last. Those who humble themselves will be uplifted. May there be more nameless leaders even in the West!
