I forgot to mention one or two other things: my permanent residency there in Brazil expires at the end of October and can only be renewed from within the country.
Also, I say I'm self-employed, I should say I'm God-employed, but I love what I do here and I'm not so sure that it really exists in Brazil, what I do here. And I understand that I may not do there, what I do here, and I'm doing my best to be okay with that. It is in many ways a huge sacrifice and it sounds good, but I want to be able to move forward and press past the obstacles (even those in my mind: debt, work, etc.) And I have been believing and will continue to believe that I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the Living. My parents obviously don't want us to go, we don't know how long we'll be gone (1.5 years?, 3 years?, 5 years?, forever?)
Thank you for your prayers and encouragement, I do covet them.
Thank you.

After paying into the system for years, BTJ Workers in China have now been told "Deny Christ or lose your social benefits."

Dear DingDash family, please keep us in your prayers today. I am here in the US writing Meriam Ibrahim's story. Not an easy story. Yesterday was filled with emotion and tears as Meriam talked about being born in a refugee camp, her father brutally murdering her aunt for an honor killing, her mother being tied up for two days and raped, and her running away and hiding to escape circumcision - only to be forcefully dragged back to the village and the Muslim elders publicly witnessing her genital mutilation - and this was all before she was even 7 years old!
We can use all the prayers we can get for this project.
Amazing testimonies from inside of China!
“We are seeing so many people come to Christ. I have been calling the church leaders and begging them for more workers."
Ramadan Prayer Focus, Day 11: Pray for the Rohingya Muslims of Myanmar and Bangladesh 🇧🇩
The United Nations calls the Rohingya people the most persecuted minority in the world. South Africa’s Bishop Desmond Tutu says they’ve experienced apartheid. Others call their treatment ethnic cleansing.

Father, You’ve put on my heart over this last week to intercede for every member of this group, as well as those needs which You have placed in their heart. I ask You, Father, to keep Your wall built around each person; that no areas of the wall will become weakened by fatigue, discouragement, anxiety, or even satanic attack. May this group be strong in the Lord, trusting You in all things and at all times. May we go about the Father’s business with expectation of joy in what doors You will open for us. May we join together in love for You, Abba, and in love for each other. May You anoint each person within this group with a burning desire to share the gospel, to heal the sick, to make disciples! May we be obedient to every command You instruct us to do. May we not grow weary in doing good and allow Your joy to be our strength. Father, it is a privilege to link arms with my fellow brothers and sisters on this site. Bless each one. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
This week in Egypt, terrorists posted a video showing the execution of three people. One of them was 62-year-old Coptic Christian, Nabil El-Habashy.
His crime? Helping to rebuild a church.

🔥 Chronicles of My Surgeries part 1-
What did I learn from having 2 major surgeries?
... well I'm still processing...but one thing that hit me hard was something very simple:
(1) I am a created being...
People of God...I experienced Father God in such a way that...all I can say is, He is more real than we are!
I met Him...or is it that He showed up at the surgeries...well, I encountered Him.
He wasn't there to console me or comfort me... His Presence alone gave Life...a deep strength i have never known. His Presence was very matter of fact....as if the surgeries were just a routine pit stop. (To be cont'd. )
