@DevotionalTreasures when my girls very very young, I started to send cards because I was a, stay at home mom. I did it for many years. I'm not sure why I stopped... perhaps because my girls grew older making it easier to talk on the phone or in person. No more pulling on my shirts calling out, "Mommy, Mom,Momma, look at what I can do!!" " I'm hungry" " I hurt my fooooot"
Oh, how I do miss those days... I need to start sending cards again.

@DevotionalTreasures I enjoyed this devotion. A good way to start my day.
In these winter months it's dark when I get up for a few hours, I sit in the darkness of my living room with a cup of coffee or tea and read DD; I pray and laugh and cry for my brothers and sisters and those still lost in darkness. As the dark mornings turn to light my mind and heart are ready for the new day. I pray all will shine with the light of Jesus and the lost see the light in this sin dark world.

@tanjaostman I tried to learn a few years ago. I was told it was a relaxing thing to do.... My shoulders were so tense my head started hurting! I did finish a scarf - it was perfect for my granddaughters Barbie doll!! Never picked up the needles again! I admire those that can actually make something from a ball of wool!

@Berrybunchfamily @StevenBerry made me tear up! My oldest daughter is turns 40 this summer and my youngest will be 36 soon, but I remember the 18th birthdays. It slaps you in the face to the reality that your child is almost on their own. My heart broke many times on their 18th. Someday I will meet Steven and your other boys - what a privilege that will be! Happy Happy birthday , Steven!
