@sinbach Oxygen tank out in front lets you know in a spectacular way when you hit the target! 😂
@bethany somehow we need to figure out to get on the same schedule 🤔 😀
@bethany happy for you, but just a little bit jealous... 🙂
@sinbach thats the best way, no crust to throw away
@sinbach what man intends for evil God uses for good. I wonder if President Xi will ever figure out he is a pawn in God's hands!
@sinbach so strange, I didn't know any of that either. Glad he was acquitted. We need more like him!
@Knittinggrace @tymektt @Olamide Sister, Ill honor your request, and end this sophistry by thanking you for your kind words and gentle spirit.
You have truly helped me see things differently and better understand Gods grace and mercy!
May the love and peace and joy of Jesus be with you now and forever!
@Knittinggrace @tymektt @Olamide From this meme (Which we both knew was not a true story) you made up a sad story about a drunk woman causing problems, lying to and disrespecting authority. I made up a happy story about a loving wife, who made a mistake and respected authority, and for that you are calling me a destructive, foolish, wicked, lier?
Do you really believe that I am Wicked and Foolish? Doesn't scripture warn us about calling our brother a Fool?
Not once in this exchange have I called you names, or insulted you or accused you of being a sinner. We are brothers and sisters in Christ right? We are both fighting for the same cause right? Our common goal is that the world may see Christ in us and that those who have not heard about Him shall hear, correct?
If my conversation has been offensive for that I apologize. It is not my desire to insult you or tear you down.
Sister is there something that me and my friends can pray for you about, or some way we can bless you today?
@ChristieLeanne what you ate doing is so impressive and amazing... keep up the great work!
@Knittinggrace @tymektt @Olamide no, no, no you got it all wrong. I know who posted this meme, he is a really good friend of mine. What happened was she was on the way home from the store where she had just bought all the fixings for a meal she was making to celebrate her wedding anniversary. She had picked up a nice bottle of wine and when she got in her car she open it and took a sip to make sure it was good enough for the occasion. She forgot to put the cap back on and coming into town was thinking about the evening and how much she loved her husband and was going a little over the speed limit by mistake. When the officer stopped her and asked about the bottle she thought he meant her water bottle that was in the cup holder by the wine. When he corrected her she realized her mistake and jokingly said "oh my goodness Jesus did it again." They both had a good laugh. He told her to slow down, she thanked him for doing his job and they both went on their way a little happier.
@Knittinggrace @tymektt @Olamide I'd also like to encourage you in your approach to scripture. It's easy to go to scripture to find verses to support what we are looking for, so dangerous and easy to take scripture out of context when we do this, cause then others can do the same for opposite view. For example, you quote Ecc 7:3 But I can point to Ecc 3:4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; or Pro 15:13&14 A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken. All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.
We could do this all day swapping back and forth, with our favorite verses, but for what point, to prove that one of us is right and the other wrong? Aren’t we on the same side? Shouldn’t we be working together for one common cause to point people to Jesus and if the love of Jesus is in our hearts shouldn’t that be reflected by the joy that is in our lives?
@Knittinggrace @tymektt @Olamide Im really sorry, but I think something was mis communicated here… no one said that we should lighten up about sin… that was not even indicated. You are aware that this water to wine was not an actual event nor based on a true story… well, other than the part that Jesus actually did turn water into wine while he was at a wedding celebration, which is normally a joyful event.
I was at a wedding once where the pastor failed to realize a wedding is a celebration and it felt more like a funeral, it was such a sad beginning to a new relationship that should have been a joyful day.
@sinbach it was not meant to, it was meant to inhance what you said... apologies if it sounded that way. 🙂
@sinbach Other books are on sale too, not just Christmas books!
@Knittinggrace @tymektt @Olamide Hi Knittinggrace, here is something that I believe will help: http://www.radioprogramsonline.com/LU/
Ken Davis has these great radio programs that are only 2 minutes long. You can listen to them as you knit.
@sinbach these things make me so mad... communism is so amazing...
@tymektt how can you call in mileage when you are counting in kilometers... wouldn't it be kilometerage? 😂 😂 😂
@tanjaostman @tymektt @sinbach I always liked Swedens approach, and now it seems to be paying off. I would tend to agree on the natural strong immunity from how they handled it. But I doubt any other countries will learn from this and do the same.
