The red sky.
It happened in Zhoushan, China on May 7, 2022. Suddenly the sky turned red.
See here the wisdom of God, who can make the worst things imaginable turn to the good of the saints. He can by a divine chemistry extract gold out of dross. “Oh the depth of the wisdom of God!” (Rom. 11:33). It is God’s great design to set forth the wonder of His wisdom. The Lord made Joseph’s prison a step to preferment. There was no way for Jonah to be saved, but by being swallowed up. God suffered the Egyptians to hate Israel (Psalm 106:41), and this was the means of their deliverance. St. Paul was bound with a chain, and that chain which did bind him was the means of enlarging the gospel (Phil. 1:12).

@Cherishingsparrows2020 Amen. Thanks for your words of encouragement. God bless you.
@Toddkapper Amen
Behind the scenes—literally, behind Abraham—the Lord was already providing a way of deliverance: a sacrificial ram as a substitute for Isaac. “So Abraham called the name of that place, ‘The LORD will provide’; as it is said to this day, ‘On the mount of the LORD it shall be provided’” (Gen 22:14).
The God who tests is also the God who provides for you.

@tanjaostman @sinbach Hi Tania, what honor and privilege. One day in my life, if God wants, I'd like to meet him and listen to him live. God bless you.
God uses trials with a purpose in mind—He never wastes anything.
Here we get to the heart of the issue.
Faith produces endurance, or steadfastness. “Steadfastness” implies staying behind or waiting patiently. This is not passive acceptance, but a persistent determination to walk through a trial as a winner, someone who clings tenaciously to God in perfect peace. This is patience that makes a man stand on his feet and face the storm head-on, being strong in the Lord. This is the active, heroic endurance to aggressively wait in the strength given by God. This is exactly what we need in trials and is promised to you as a believer in Christ.
Steadfastness is a virtue gained gradually and painfully, not by reading books about perseverance, but by walking through pain.

@Kruselady Thanks for your clarification. In the post I wrote the emphasis was on "when" as many are inclined to think that faith must manifest itself "when" they receive what they prayed for. Instead, we must have faith "when" we ask, that is, when we pray. Certainly everything that is asked for must necessarily be in the will of God, as it is written in 1 John 5:14 that you have quoted, otherwise we cannot hope to receive what we are asking for. God bless you.
@Berrybunchfamily Really beautiful. I also love nature so much. There is so much to learn from God's creation as well as from God's Word. Blessings.
Luke 25:4-6
While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men suddenly stood near them in dazzling clothing; and as the women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living One among the dead? “He is not here, but He has risen.Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee ..."
Romans 6:5
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection.

Alleluia! Christ died, was buried and rose again on the third day and also appeared to the witnesses He had chosen. Glory to God!
This is the power of the gospel.
Christ is not only dead and buried but he is also resurrected and now lives.
Jesus is the living one!
And His resurrection, one day, will also be our resurrection, because we are "in Christ".
What a wonderful certainty! What an infinite joy!
God bless you.
@Kruselady Amen.
