If you donate to help in Beirut - pls do it through an organisation that has their own people on the ground. DO NOT SEND SUPPORT THROUGH THE GOVERNMENT. Even if you do not support BTJ - pls tell your friends NOT to send money to the government for this aid effort. They have stolen from the people before and they will do it again. Make every dollar count.

The funding that BTJ has sent has arrived on the ground thanx to some very creative people that we work with. It is not safe to send money directly to Beirut, so we had to depend on a network of BTJ connections to move money around before finally getting it in. This is the hardest hurdle. PTL!

Wife's birthday today. Couldn't find a vase, so I hiked out into the mountains and picked her a bucket of flowers. A 'bucket of flowers' I think is going to be our new term from now on.
