I'm requesting prayer tonight.
I'm feeling a little down and feeling the pressure of things around. My wife and our 4 children and I are planning on moving to Brazil in around 100 days from now. We believe we have heard from the Lord over a period of a few years.
We already have our plane tickets (SkyMiles used), we are working on moving out (less than 2 months remains on our lease), I still have a crud-ton of debt that I am believing for God to miraculously remove or help with so that I can leave no debt unpaid. I have not received exact details from the Lord on what I will be doing there (ministry or small store or both or import/export).
A little background: I was invited to preach in Brazil a little over 10 years ago and went towards the end of 2011, well needless to say, the Holy Ghost revealed to us that the Pastor's daughter would be my wife (on the day before leaving from a 2 week mission), and almost 10 years later, we are 9 (happy) years married and have 4 children......
I can't tell you the secret to happiness - but I can tell you this...
I have NEVER been sad a steak restaurant.

Trust in the sovereignty of God only exists when trust in the love of God exists. If, no matter what our circumstance, we trust that God is good, faithful and present with us, we will never stumble. Our trust in God’s love and Sovereignty will be tested like King Ahaz of Israel.
“When the house of David was told, ‘Syria is in league with Ephraim,’ his heart and the heart of his people shook as the trees of the forrest shake before the wind.”
Isaiah 7:2
God was on the verge of bringing about a great deliverance for Israel but King Ahaz lacked the faith to enjoy that fact. Instead, he pooped his pants. But God brought about the deliverance anyway.
God is sovereign and God is good.
@Laurielove1 yea, that one hit me too. the story of him going deep into the Joker character was troubling and dark. I watched Dark Night and I think that there was a something more to what Health put into it than mere method acting. I think that he gave part of his soul for that part. As I watched him in that movie - I felt that his presence on screen wasn't just talent - it was spiritual. dare I say, the movie was spiritual. I walked away from that movie feeling a heaviness and spiritually unclean.

This was one of my first Gospel 8 Tracks after I became a Christian. I have not heard this song in almost 30 years, but after hearing the first notes, I jumped right in singing along KNOWING EVERY WORD! Young people might HATE this music, but it goes down like warm comfort food for my soul.
