@sarikorpi tack, jag ska lyssna vid tillfälle!
@MaryMamuzich wow, that was a lot! You didn't have to buy eggs or chicken meat. Were your parents farmers?
It's a little funny. We got four chickens in spring 2016. Two of them are still alive and kicking, but they lay eggs very sparingly at this age. We don't have them to save money, but because they are our son's pets, and he loves them and doesn'twantustoget rid of them. 😀 They live in an old barn at my parents-in-law, a couple of hundred meters from our house. Today we found two eggs. It was -18°C outdoors, and -5°C in the barn. They have a heat lamp. Otherwise they would lay no eggs at all in the winter.
@Berrybunchfamily yes it does! There are all kinds of snow... but the last snow that came on Christmas is like in movies, so light and soft. I enjoy it! Some winters we get our first snow right after Christmas and oftentimes it gets hard and icy, after some warmer days on the plus side.
Merry Christmas to all Dingdashers! 🎄🎁 The "most important" day of Christmas is Christmas Eve, Dec 24th, when we have Christmas dinner and give presents (in the evening) in Finland and Sweden. We celebrated with relatives today, and will continue tomorrow with other relatives. It's been snowing heavily today, about 40 cm. So fun to play in the snow! ❄
@sinbach I just shared a study (in a recent post) published in Lancet, that says that people who have received the C-vaccine can be equally as infectious and as likely to spread the Delta variant, as thos who have not been vaccinated. "The Lancet has an Impact Factor of 79·321 and ranks second among 169 general and internal medicine journals globally (2020 Journal Citation Reports®, (Clarivate 2021)."
