@Johanna Welcome. Watch out for @sinbach. We just learned he's goin to Hell

After looking at thejesusgathering.org it appears they may have not owned a building or ever been incorporated and that is a good thing. I hope its true.

So.. the texas house church podcast, which i listened to, sounded like an institutional church that decided to break up into small groups after the covid crackdown, and will ultimately maintain their building, staff and traditions.

@sinbach I hope you will open up the phone line on that one

@zephan yes. what irritates me is the attitude that they have have to have special buildings, so-called churches which came out of Roman paganism with Emperor Augustine setting up the pagan temples.

@KarMarJo57 @Knittinggrace My problem (unbelief) was, like many people, I believed God could and would perform miracles today but that he wasn t using men to do it like of old because i never heard of it until about 6 yrs. ago. it s the subtle lies that are easiest to believe

@Asianking ive seen bats like that and never tried to roast them

@erdenpilger On the other hand. it is true that the Scriptures are complete.

yes, @raymondthebrave 's account appears to be deleted.

If you don't believe in prophets, you can't believe in pastors, teachers, evangelists, administrators, or anything, and you've got a whole lot of nothing.

@Knittinggrace It's very interesting that you mention that video of a prophet exhorting MacArthur. I found that several years ago while looking for a video of a real prophet that edifies the church (1 Cor. 14) and stumbled upon that. I was amazed, and havent seen anything like it since. The video is in my files, now. As far as I can tell, that man who called MacArthur out was sent from God. By the way, I used to be a cessationist and didnt even know it.
