It's time for our next Sunday PLUS episode - on Sunday 2nd July, 2022.

We've been working our way through the book of Proverbs, in the Old Testament and, with a little more help from Dave the Dog, Jo and and Andy B will look at what this amazing book - and this chapter in particular - can teach us. So far we have folks from the UK and Nigeria, so you'd be very welcome to join in, no matter where, or when, you are in the world.

Also, we're not fussy on ages either - family is a big word, and so you'll be most welcome, whatever your age, whether you're married or whether you have children or not. This is suitable for all ages and experiences of Jesus and we're as global a family as God is!

Happy Father’s Day, 2022

It's an interesting father's Day today!

This is the first one since my father died last Autumn (2021). It struck me, suddenly, this morning, that he was no more.

He didn't want anything to do with me and my family, so we'd been estranged for over a decade. It was what it was, and I was ok with that - you can't force people to like or love you: I'm not sure how that makes me feel...

Perhaps you're reading this and have a similarly strange emotion today. Perhaps you loved your dad and he was snatched away before you were ready and breathing felt too great a burden to bear. Perhaps you've never known who your biological father is. Perhaps your father was, or is, abusive towards you, or others whom you love. We’re back! Did you miss us?

We’ve spent the past couple of weeks switching to a new website look and layout. Nathan and I (And B) have spent, perhaps, around 50-60 hours – between us – making the new site come to life.

When we started our BerryBunch.family online ministry we had a handful of videos and posts but, as we grew, we become ever more a video based ministry. So, we searched for a ‘theme’ that would look better for the needs we now have, which is providing plenty of resource rich videos that are available: For Free, For All.

Worried about the future?

The coast is but 10 metres from where I sit, on a concrete block, as I have a small break while out cycling.

The waves are crashing against the shore, and the sound is lovely. But, the sea will keep eating away at the shoreline.

30 years ago there'd be a couple of fields in between me and the sea. Its all gone now.

Time marches on, and we are like the morning mist, which fades as the sun rises.

It doesn't mean we should give up, but to keep going...we can do more than we think we can. With God, we can do even greater things than even Jesus did ...let that one sink in for a moment as you consider what Jesus did!

Stressed? Anxious? Jesus has been praying for you for at least 2,000 years.......

We are like the morning mist - when the Son rises any brief suffering will fade as we move to heaven, where Jesus is preparing a place for us.

Not sure if you have a place in heaven? Ask Jesus to show Himself to you.

#TestimonyTuesday: God’s provision

Thanks to @Cherishingsparrows2020 for this one 🙂

It speaks of God’s miraculous provision for so many things, including needs for health and a home. It shows His love for us – as His children – and how God uses all sorts of people to help us along our journey.

God’s provision
Several years ago my family and I moved to the house where we now live. There is more to that testimony, but I’ll leave that for another time. At the time of our move, we owned our previous home but didn’t have a significant savings or a high income.

From the time our first child was born, I’ve stayed home with the children. So, my husband has been the only one earning a regular income.

We purchased our current home through a special arrangement, and with the expectation that our previous home would very soon be sold or leased out. [READ MORE]
