we used to use what is commonly named "auto gas" (it's petrol gas (the fumes/vapour)) back when we had drove a V8 Land Rover discovery as it was about 1/4 of the cost of liquid petrol

but even the gas version of petrol looks expensive now!

trying to be clear - I mean UK gas which is a gas and not US gas which is not a gas but a liquid

gotta love the confusion of a simple word like gas when you shorten it lol 😂

Oh, ands over in the UK gas has a whole other meaning as well over here too, and that has nothing to do with petrol or diesel 😂

@tanjaostman between £1.80 - £1.85 per litre in the UK for diesel at the moment

rather pricey!

i'm old enough to remember £0.52/litre...that was only in 1997!

Peter & JoJo get together to encourage us, as always – to pray as a family. And they continue their series on using objects or photographs of objects, things or places to help us stay focused in prayer.

This week, JoJo & Peter continue to inspire us into praying for different countries, nations, or places in the world by using, this time, composers from different countries.

Peter and JoJo encourage us to find classical music, maybe on a CD and to pray for the country from which the composer was born. JoJo suggests we even listen to the music before we pray, or you can just hold the CD in front of you.

With a Beethoven CD and a photograph of an orchestra in front of them Peter and JoJo pray for Germany. How’s your knowledge of composers? Who would you pick for your country? What’s your favourite composer?

@Pablito @Kruselady it's so good to seek to see situations through God's eyes; to seek to see things from His perspective

We see David taking that journey in the Psalms - moving from his human struggles,through to Praising God anyway.

This is something I've spent 35 years still trying to get right!! I'm still very good at telling God my struggles. I'm still not very good at moving to Praising Him anyway...I'm glad I'm a work in progress!!
