@DevotionalTreasures The Lord Jesus was abandoned by most of his family, who thought he was crazy. The apostle Paul may have been abandoned by his wife when he was converted (it was required for Pharisees to be married). My first wife left me when I refused to backslide with her. Our Lord said his Gospel would divide families. I'm glad you are receiving true love from the Father in Heaven.
Amen @Hinerodney
Pray for Myanmar. the military is turning off the internet from Feb 14-28th. Chinese planes flying in all week. Two NKorean planes yesterday. https://m.imdb.com/name/nm1238989/
Beautiful song @Jf_dream
Being abandoned by friends and family is a painful business, that often leaves a lasting emotional scar. Yet such abandonment highlights true love from others, particularly from our Father Almighty God.

Would you pray for my son? He has Asperger's and is easily influenced. He's off to college and wrestling with what he really believes spiritually. Even though he's at a "christian" college, there's no biblical feeding happening and instead, he was introduced to D&D groups (which, in my opinion, is witchcraft). He looks lost in his eyes and sad. He must walk this road and decide to choose Jesus while out on his own. It must be HIS relationship. His passion and choice. I know the promise God gave me for him: that his life was to be dedicated to God and he is a kingdom warrior! It will happen but I'm praying he doesn't take the long, hard road. Please pray that he chooses to remove himself from these D&D games and instead find other students who are a godly influence. Pray that he would encounter Jesus in a very real, personal way. Thank you. ❤️
"God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him." -1 Corinthians 1:27-29 ❤
Today I found myself reminiscing about the summer of 1978. Isn't it funny how we get excited for worldly things suchcas birthdays and holidays, but once they are past they are just a memory. But the blessings bestowed on the child of God by the Father last forever, they are eternal! Why then would we still want anything from this world?

I recently discovered a heartwarming fact that the postal service receives letters for God often. And the Israeli Postal Service in Jerusalem delivers these letters into the crevaces of the Western Wall. Do you write a prayer diary?

Someday soon, maybe very soon, Jesus will return to take believers home to Heaven. Let us be sure that we have a ticket for that day!
