@caleb Pondered that. I'm praying for a house church. Where 2 or 3 are together and Christ is with us.

Think outside the box. My small land has plantain and dandelion greens, elderberries, vegetables, eggs. Dehydrate meat. Bulk items like cornmeal, grits, oatmeal are the best carbos.

@Jorge Homestead! Turn off the luxuries like electric if need be. Walk or ride a bike. Spend on what need not want. It only takes 6-8 weeks to raise broilers for chicken. (We are ready to butcher in about a week, Lord Willing.)

@speakthetruth Seriously, a good house layout and it's really workable. I have a 490 sq ft with three, but it's not a good layout. The design has a lot of wasted space. It's a single bedroom but two could have been made. Add a bit more on the attic and it could have been a big assest. Small have a lot of advantages.

@Knittinggrace I hear you. I had two conversations today when out shipping. They both said it makes them sick to wear them and we agreed, it's time to stop. But it appears people are getting softer about it. That's an improvement.
