PRAY FOR CANADA: We are 1.5 hours away from the vote in the House of Commons of Parliament to vote either in favor of Trudeau securing the Emergencies Act or against it. The numbers are going to be EXTREMELY close and Trudeau is certain that he will win. There are some open party defectors but many unknown. Regardless of your stance on current events, I am sure that most of us desire lies to be exposed and truth to prevail. I like many have prayed into this as I ask God to intervene, but I propose that we add to that prayer …

Last month when I was reading Psalms 63, the Lord highlighted verse 11 to me. The latter part of the verse says, “for the mouths of those who speak lies shall be stopped”.

Not only do we want lies to be exposed but we also what them stopped for all humanity.

So, I pray and invite you to join me, …

Heavenly Father we ask for you to intervene. We rejoice in you Lord God, for you are God Almighty Who created heaven and earth, Who formed us in intricacy, Who loves us without end. And we ask right now Heavenly Father that you would not only expose the lies but that they would be stopped. We thank you Lord, for your truth to prevail and we thank you for your intervention on our behalf in Jesus name. Amen and amen.

I've realized that "pulpit ministry" (ministering from the pulpit) is one of the least forms of ministry by which we can impact lives and do genuine biblical discipleship. As good as pulpit ministry is, we should start making it look less attractive and rather emphasize more on one-on-one discipleship, small group meetings, and the house church model.

The man behind the pulpit is mostly like an actor. He may not be the same man at home who lives with his wife, kids, etc. Whatever he says or does behind the pulpit shouldn't be taken at face value until we know the kind of life he lives outside the pulpit.

Genuine one-on-one discipleship provides the disciple the privilege of knowing and touching the Pastor. It's that intimate relationship between a disciple and a discipler that truly transforms the disciple.

This was the example that Jesus set for us. His disciples lived with Him, ate with Him, and slept with Him. We need to close the gap between the pulpit and the pew.

If she would be found guilty of charges, that would practically mean that the Bible would be banned in Finland, at least in some parts. You wouldn't be able to stand for God words about how sexuality was created only for a man and a woman in marriage. That would be hate speech and forbidden.
